Comment:
It is often claimed that the US, England, France, and other Western countries supposedly want to abolish dictatorships and bring freedom and democracy to the Islamic world.
Refuting this false claim, it must be noted that in reality, the West does not desire the spread of democracy in the Islamic world. For long decades, Muslim countries were held under the pressure of dictatorships, and at the slightest chance of the situation spinning out of control, the superpowers immediately orchestrated coups to support dictatorships loyal to them.
A striking example of this is the history of the Islamic Salvation Front in Algeria in the early 90s, which came very close to obtaining a constitutional majority. Seeing this as a threat to the regime, the military carried out a coup, drowning the aspirations of Algerian Muslims in blood. The desire of superpowers to preserve dictatorships at all costs was particularly evident during the events of the Arab Spring.
For instance, the situation with the overthrow, as a result of a military coup, of the legitimately elected President of Egypt, Muhammad Morsi, who was removed from office and subsequently sentenced to life imprisonment, is revealing. What has been happening in Syria for over 10 years is another example. Syrian Muslims who revolted against the regime of Bashar al-Assad, who is an American agent, jeopardized US dominance in the region. This is why Obama crossed his announced red lines to the Assad regime dozens of times, because the fall of the Syrian regime would have brought Islamic groups to power, with the prospect of subsequently establishing an Islamic State (Caliphate). And only after ensuring the preservation of their interests in Syria did they allow the Assad regime to fall, resulting in power transferring to Ahmad al-Sharaa, who is loyal to Turkey, and thus to America.
For decades, colonial powers plundered the resources of the Islamic world without even mentioning the dictatorial nature of various rulers. But when the Arab Spring erupted and it became clear that many of the rulers would not stand, European and American officials began to call their friends of yesterday, with whom they shared firm handshakes, dictators, breaking off relations with them and recognizing the opposition as the legitimate power in a given country.
All this clearly confirms that no one wants freedom and democracy for the Islamic world, because our enemies know perfectly well that if Muslims are allowed to hold free elections, they will immediately reclaim the right to appoint a ruler and live in accordance with the Islamic system of governance. Therefore, America and its allies openly and brazenly support tyrants, as happened when US President Trump, during his first term, openly called the Egyptian putschist Abdel Fattah al-Sisi his favorite dictator. Today, Trump fiercely defends Muhammad bin Salman from the attacks of American journalists, as if he were this dictator's obedient lawyer.
Nevertheless, despite all the efforts of the European colonizers, what is happening in the Islamic world is moving towards its logical conclusion, namely the triumphant victory of Islam, a sign of which is the end of the era of rulers like Abdel Nasser, who mocked the Sharia attire of Muslim women and poisoned Muslims with the ideas of Arab nationalism. Today, a temporary era of the so-called "moderate Islamists without Islam" has arrived, who, while continuing to implement secularism, practice certain Islamic elements with the aim of misleading Muslims.
The time is near for the removal of dictators in the Muslim lands, and the time when Muslims will reclaim their right to live in accordance with Islam, their ideological and historical wealth. This will be the reason for the return of the Islamic Ummah to its former greatness and economic and scientific development, which will allow it to once again become a beacon of justice and development in the global mire of man-made systems.
[فَسَيُنْغِضُونَ إِلَيْكَ رُءُوسَهُمْ وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هُوَ قُلْ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا]
“But they will shake their heads and say, "When will that be?" Say, "Perhaps it will be very soon!"” [Surah 17: 51]
