Identity, Constitution and State on the Basis of the Shariah Law of Allah (swt) Is the Only Way to Ensure Stability in Pakistan

“Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said on Friday that deliberate attempts were being made to create a perception that the situation in Balochistan was deteriorating... At the outset of the briefing, the military’s spokesperson said 40,348 intelligence-based operations had been conducted this year... Of these operations, most were carried out in Balochistan, with the number exceeding 31,000, he said.” (Dawn Newspaper 31 July 2026)

Comment:

The Muslims of Pakistan are shaken by instability in the provinces of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azad Kashmir, to the point that some have stopped watching the news because of the pain, confusion and absence of a clear solution. On the one hand, the rulers of Pakistan are demanding the fulfilling of obligations on the basis of the Pakistani identity. On the other hand, the protestors and armed factions are demanding rights on the basis of their ethnic identities. In addition, Western powers are working hard to throw fuel on the burning fires, whilst the Hindu State does not desist from its mischief. The result is that Muslims are fighting and killing Muslims, with no end of the Fitnah in sight.

Fitnah is prevented by the Shariah of Allah (swt). The munafiqoon and the Jews at the time of the Messenger of Allah (saw) wanted instability in Al-Madinah. They attempted to incite the Muslims against each other on the basis of the tribalism from the time before Islam. They failed miserably because the identity, laws and authority in Al-Madinah were all based on the Shariah of Allah (swt). The identity of the Muslims in Al-Madinah was not on the basis of its land and its borders. The identity was based on that which made Al-Madinnah “Munawwarah,” “illuminated” by the light of the Shariah of Allah (swt). The laws of Al-Madinah were all from the Noble Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah, which provided justice, prosperity and security for all the people, regardless of their race and religion. The authority of Al-Madinah governed the Muslims, addressed their grievances and resolved their disputes on the basis of the Deen which they believed in.

So how can we expect security in a society whose identity is based on loyalty to land and borders, whose laws are derived from flawed man-made law and whose authority governs Muslims on the basis of secularism, which detaches the Deen of Allah (swt) from identity, law and constitution? O Muslims of Pakistan, there is a solution to the deepening security crisis. It is the implementation of the Shariah Law of Allah and the abolition of Pakistani nationalism, regional sub-nationalism, capitalism and secularism. O Muslims of Pakistan, strive for establishment of the Second Khilafah Rashidah which alone can put out the fires of Fitnah and replace enmity with brotherhood!

Allah (swt) said,

[وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا]

“And hold fast, all of you, to the rope of Allah and do not be divided; and remember the favor of Allah upon you—when you were enemies, He unified your hearts, so that by His grace you became brothers; and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, and He saved you from it.” [TMQ Surah Aali Imran: 103].
