Turkey President Erdogan in China Amid Uighur Tensions

Mr Erdogan is leading a delegation of businessmen in talks expected to focus on economic ties.
But discussions may also cover Turkey's controversial plans to buy a Chinese long-range missile system.
His visit comes after recent diplomatic tensions over China's treatment of its Muslim Uighur people who have close cultural and religious ties with Turks.

But Turkey's current border crisis with Syria may give renewed impetus to its on-again-off-again deal to buy a Chinese long-range missile system, a plan that has caused alarm among other Nato members, says our correspondent.

The state visit also comes a few weeks after protests, some violent, in Istanbul and Ankara over what are perceived as heavy-handed restrictions by Beijing on its Uighur population.

The protests were sparked by the deportation of a group of Muslim Uighurs from Thailand to China - a move that rights groups criticised saying Uighurs face persecution in China - as well as reports that China had banned Uighurs from fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. [Source: BBC]
Promoted as Muslim World’s leader, Erdogan visits Muslim people’s persecutors in price of very little trade deals. And he feels no trouble at all in dealing with the oppressive regime which persecutes its Uighur population simply because they are Muslim. The Muslim world’s real leader is obligated to relieve the distress of Muslim Ummah – NOT make lucrative trade deals or purchase weapons from them to bomb the Muslim Ummah.

US Condemns PKK Terror Attacks

The White House deputy spokesman Eric Schultz made a statement regarding the PKK and ISIS terror organizations in a statement on Wednesday. "We condemn PKK's terror attacks against Turkey. We fully respect Turkey's rights to defend itself," he said.

Upon the questions about Turkey and US' agreement on the use of Incirlik Air Base against ISIS, he said that the US welcomed Turkey's decision to grant the US and coalition member countries access to use the base.

Emphasizing that Turkey and the US are close allies and both members of the NATO, "The US supports Turkey's fight against ISIS, including the train and equip programs, intelligence sharing and operational coordinations." he added. [Source: Daily Sabah]

How can a Muslim country be “close ally” with invaders and enemies like today’s number one Muslim killer State?

((وَلَن تَرْضَىٰ عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَىٰ حَتَّىٰ تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ))

“Never will the Jews or the Christians be satisfied with thee unless thou follow their form of religion.” [al-Baqara: 120]

Turkish PM says coalition talks with main opposition CHP still at early stage

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said on Thursday that potential coalition talks with the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) were still at an early stage and that negotiations would continue this week.
Talks with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), which has previously opted out of a potential coalition government, are also still underway, Davutoglu said at a gathering of his party's provincial heads. [Source: Reuters]

Almost 2 months until elections and still no government has been established. This is a natural result of democratic elections. A country should never stay rudderless, since the enemies of Islam do not rest and persist in their plots to weaken and invade Muslim lands and resources.
