Spokesman of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Jamaat-e-Islami has neither accused Hizb ut Tahrir nor named any of its members of involvement in planting explosive materials outside of the home of Shabbir Ahmed Khan, ex- Member of National Assembly and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Secretary. The police, federal and provincial governments have completely failed to provide public order and security for the citizens and in order to hide their failure they have without reason blamed groups such as Hizb ut Tahrir. The spokesman rejected the government's efforts to create discord between groups that are trying to establish Islamic government and said that differences over the government's pro-American policies is the Islamic right of every party, moreover the government is exposing itself by establishing false cases against those who peacefully protest.
