Bangladesh falling into a vicious circle of conspiracy, violence and repression. It is high time we replaced the subservient nation-state rulers with the sincere leadership of the second righteous Khilafah "Caliphate"

The month of November has been marked with increased violence and extraordinary levels of government tyranny in Bangladesh. On November 18, another Italian missionary doctor named Father Piero has been severely injured in an attempted assassination as a continuation of targeting the foreign nationals staying in Bangladesh. Also, again a Shiite mosque on northeastern Bogra district came under attack on November 27 where unidentified gunmen killed 1 person and injured three others after last month’s grenade attack on Shias in Old Dhaka that killed two and injured more than a 100. Amid such volatile situations, Bangladeshi government has also arrested massive number of political opponents and also put a ban on social networking sites like Facebook and some other mobile messaging apps citing security reasons and in the name of stopping the criminals.

Today, on the one hand, people in Bangladesh are being continuously suffocated and terrorized by the tyrannical government, and on the other hand, they are being increasingly fearful of the conspiracy of the evil America to make this country fall prey to their trap in the name of the presence of the so-called ‘Islamic State’. Despotic Hasina has created an environment of fear and intimidation where no kinds of oppositional voices are being tolerated; particularly she has waged an all-out war to suppress Islam in which family members of the activists of Hizb ut Tahrir and other Islamic parties are also being shown no mercy. This month has seen an unprecedented level of political arrest spree by this fascist regime which led to a humanitarian catastrophe inside jails as all the prisons in Bangladesh are housing inmates four times of its capacity. Her tyrant father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was in a mission to brutally control all 64 districts of Bangladesh, and following in her father’s footsteps, she has already gotten one step ahead; trying to take full control of all of the 4,550 Unions in Bangladesh. People are not getting breathing space in any of the corners at this moment, be it economical or political. More than Tk 30,000 crore has been looted from the share market in the last three months by the ruling elites, whereas general people are working 18 to 20 hours a day but are yet to meet their basic needs properly due to increasing price hike of necessity goods. All the opposition parties and media channels are being arbitrarily controlled by the government, no critic against the government is being slightly tolerated even from the civil society; and now devilish Hasina has taken her totalitarianism to a new height by putting a ban on all kinds of social networking media in the hope of curbing public discontent and opinion in the online world as well. Ministers and law enforcing agencies are saying they are keeping track of those persons who are using proxies and VPNs to use Facebook for inciting anti-government sentiments, and measures would be taken against them in due course.

Already vexed by the mounting fear and political repression of the local tyrant, Bangladeshi people is also worried about the vicious plots of the evil America to drag this country into her war against Islam. One after another, foreign citizens are being targeted by unidentified assassins and Shiite mosques are also coming under attack to incite sectarian rift; and all these are happening in the name of “Islamic State”. The heinous geopolitical conspiracy against Bangladesh is becoming evident each day from the tension between Hasina government and America. Amid the continuous claim by US that ‘Islamic State’ was behind these attacks, Sheikh Hasina said for the first time on 8/11/15 that vested interests were putting “massive pressure” on her government to “admit” that the Islamic State (IS) had played a role in the recent killings and attacks in the country, and to create a situation similar to those in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iraq and Syria.

This is not exhausting for Hizb ut Tahrir to remind the Ummah day in and day out that whoever wins in this tug of war between US and Bangladesh, general Muslims would definitely be on the losing end. The international conspiracies regarding Bangladesh by US, the self-styled self-appointed defender of the world, and the brutal oppression by the dictator Hasina upon her countrymen are taking the country into a steep descent of chaos and uncertainty. Also, this would never be tiring for us to remind the people on every single occasion that only the blessed system of Khilafah "Caliphate" upon the method of the Prophethood can rescue Bangladesh from such misery and humiliation and bring a permanent end to the disgraceful intervention by the regional and global powers to decide our political landscape.
