Arab Rulers Only Meet to Betray the Ummah and Neglect its Issues

A meeting was held in Cairo in early February 2025, which included the foreign ministers of Jordan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt, in addition to the Secretary-General of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the Secretary-General of the Arab League to discuss the latest developments in Gaza and the Palestinian issue. This meeting came in the wake of an agreement for a cease fire in Gaza, and an exchange of prisoners, mediated by Egypt and Qatar, and supported by America.

These meetings will not lead to a real change in the course of the Palestinian issue. Instead, they are held to pass normalization policies, with the usurping entity, and to consolidate its presence in the region. Welcoming the ceasefire agreement and praising international efforts reflect an implicit acceptance of the continuation of the occupation. It is ignoring the fact that the real and only solution is to liberate all of Palestine. It ignores the fact that the role of the surrounding countries is to mobilize armies, uproot this monstrous entity from its roots, and uproot everything that prevents this, starting with the agent regimes that rule our countries.

The call to empower the Palestinian Authority in Gaza and the appeal for reconstruction are a deception against the people of Palestine and the Islamic Ummah, and a failure to address its issues. These are steps that perpetuate the occupation, invite it to more killing and destruction, and maintain the status quo without change. The call for a two-state solution, which the international order adopts, does not restore rights to those who are deserving. Instead, the call for the two-state solution keeps the Jewish entity occupying Islamic land, and gives it legitimacy under the auspices of the agent regimes.

These Arab and international meetings, no matter how numerous they are, will neither restore rights, nor liberate the land. Instead, they are a cover for passing normalization policies, and giving up the rights of Muslims. No good is expected from them. Therefore, the Islamic Ummah must realize the danger of these plans, and the necessity of working hard to thwart them by adhering to the Shariah rulings, rejecting all forms of normalization and concessions, and striving to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) that restores the pride and dignity of the Ummah and liberates its sanctities from the filth of the West and its agents.

These meetings are nothing but political theatrics aimed at pacifying the people, and deluding them into believing that efforts are being made to resolve the Palestinian issue. However, the truth is that these meetings are being held to consolidate the current reality, preserve the interests of the major powers, and perpetuate the Jewish entity and integrate it into the region.

The call for reconstruction in Gaza must not be an alternative to the serious work to liberate Palestine. Reconstruction without liberation is just anesthesia that keeps the wound bleeding, and gives the occupation a chance to catch its breath, and continue its aggressive policies.

We call on the Islamic Ummah to reject these meetings, and the decisions issued by them, and to work to adopt a true Islamic project that aims to liberate all of Palestine, and to eliminate the usurping entity from existence. This can only be achieved by establishing the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate), and mobilizing the armies of Muslims to wage Jihad for the Path of Allah (swt).

The issue of Palestine is an Islamic issue. Its liberation is a Shariah obligation upon every Muslim. Palestine must not be viewed on the basis of nationalism, or the Sykes-Picot nationalistic borders, drawn by the colonialists who planted the Jewish entity, as an advanced base for the colonialists to maintain their dominance over our lands, and prevent their unification. In the eyes of the Ummah the Jewish entity is made the enemy alone, instead of the colonialists as well. Instead, the Blessed Land of Palestine must be viewed from the perspective of Islam, and on the basis of the Islamic ‘aqeedah that sees all the lands of Islam as one land. If the enemy attacks any of its lands, nothing is more obligatory, after Iman, than repelling the enemy. This Shariah obligation falls on the people of that land first. If they do not achieve sufficiency, and are unable to repel that enemy, and it occupies that land, the obligation is transferred to those closest to them, then the next closest, until sufficiency is achieved or the obligation covers all the lands. This is what is obligatory on Egypt and its army, as they are the closest, the strongest, and the most obligated in that. Al-Kasani says in Bada’i’ al-Sana’i,’ وإن ضعف أهل ثغر عن مقاومة الكفرة، وخيف عليهم من العدو، فعلى من وراءهم من المسلمين الأقرب فالأقرب أن ينفروا إليهم، وأن يمدوهم بالسلاح والكراع والمال؛ لما ذكرنا أنه فرض على الناس كلهم ممن هو من أهل الجهاد، لكن الفرض يسقط عنهم بحصول الكفاية بالبعض، فما لم يحصل لا يسقط “If the people of a border are too weak to resist the kafir, fearing from the enemy, then those Muslims who are closest to them, then the next closest, must go to them and provide them with weapons, steeds and wealth. It is because we mentioned that it Jihad obligatory on all people who are among the people of Jihad. However, the Shariah obligation falls from them when sufficiency is achieved by some. However, if it is not achieved, the obligation does not fall from them.”

O sincere soldiers in the army of Egypt al-Kinanah: Your rulers are actually, and practically, participating in maintaining the Jewish entity. This is not surprising from them. They are the ones who helped establish this monstrous entity in the heart of the Islamic Ummah. However, what is truly surprising is your stance, O sons of the Muslims in the armies. Why are you still insisting on self-restraint, while your brothers are being slaughtered like sheep? Why are you still clinging to the Sykes-Picot nationalistic borders that divided, and tore apart, the sons of one single Ummah? Where are the concepts of Islam that make war on any single Muslim as a war on all Muslims? So, remove the allegiance of the agent rulers from yourselves, and be with the sincere Dawah carriers to implement Islam. This is so that you bring Islam to authority, as Allah (swt) wanted, and is pleased with you with, and declare it a Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. So be the Ansaar (supporters) of Islam and move with it, and besides it, towards the liberation of all of Palestine, and all of the occupied lands of Islam. Then you will gain the virtue and honor of the Ansaar. So O Allah, provide for the Ummah and its pioneering Hizb, the Ansaar of an Islamic state project, who will grant Nussrah to uproot those regimes and restore the authority of the Ummah once again. Allah (swt) said,

[انْفِرُوا خِفَافاً وَّثِقَالاً وَّجَاهِدُوا بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ]

“Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah. That is better for you, if you only knew.” [TMQ Surah at-Tawbah 9:41]
