So withdraw your hands from those who trade in posts, seats, and chairs, and place your hands in ours, so that we may restore matters to their proper course and re-establish Islam as a Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) upon the Method of the Prophethood, one that places the Noble Quran in the position that the Lord of Majesty intended for it: a light by which humanity is guided, and divine guidance that lifts from it hardship and misery.

Customs Duties Are Haram and They Make Life Miserable
The Sudanese Customs Administration has implemented a new 14% increase in the customs exchange rate for the US dollar. The customs exchange rate is a key factor in determining the cost of imports and a direct cause of rising prices for consumer goods and production inputs. In reality, it is an indirect tax ultimately paid by the consumer. The customs exchange rate has been raised 9 times since January 2025, from 2,000 Sudanese pounds to 3,222.8 pounds, an increase of 61%. This has significantly impacted commodity prices amidst the ongoing war, which has led to a decline in living standards and a decrease in purchasing power.
In light of this manufactured catastrophic economic situation, the official spokesperson of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, Ustadh Ibrahim Usman (Abu Khalil), stated in a press release the following:
First: There are no customs duties levied on imported goods in Islam, for that is considered unlawful taxation, about which the Prophet (saw) said:
««لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ صَاحِبُ مَكْسٍ
“Sahib maks, meaning one who tithes people, will not enter paradise.” and he said «إِنَّ صَاحِبَ الْمَكْسِ فِي النَّارِ»“Sahib maks is in fire,” Sahib maks is the state.
Secondly: Taxing goods is an indirect tax, and it is forbidden because it contributes to price increases and hardship for people. Regarding this, the Prophet (saw) said: «مَنْ دَخَلَ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ أَسْعَارِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ لِيُغَلِّيَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ، كَانَ حَقّاً عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُقْعِدَهُ بِعُظْمٍ مِنَ النَّارِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»“Whoever interferes in the prices of Muslims in order to raise them for them, it is incumbent upon Allah to seat him in a great fire on the Day of Resurrection.” He (saw) said: «اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ أُمَّتِي شَيْئاً فَشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاشْقُقْ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ أُمَّتِي شَيْئاً فَرَفَقَ بِهِمْ فَارْفُقْ بِهِ» “O Allah, cause distress to him who has any charge over my people and causes them distress, and be gentle to him who has any charge over my people and is gentle to them.”
Third: Pegging the Sudanese pound to the dollar has made the country financially dependent and deprived it of control over its economy. It has thus fallen under the mercy of institutions of kufr (disbelieving) nations that have no compassion and no regard for our well-being, such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. The proper course of action is to peg the national currency to gold and silver, given their intrinsic value, in addition to the fact that some Islamic legal rulings (Ahkam Shariah) are linked to gold and silver. Sudan is a country of plundered and squandered gold, a consequence of government policies that see only the people's pockets.
At the end of his statement, Ustadh Abu Khalil concluded: In conclusion: Let the people of Sudan know that their suffering and hardship are not due to the country's poverty, but rather to the application of the kufr West's systems: greedy capitalism. We will not be delivered from this dire situation except by returning to Islam and implementing its rulings concerning finance, the economy, and other matters. This can only be achieved under the Islamic state: The Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate), following the methodology of the Prophethood. It alone is capable of transforming our situation from one of manufactured poverty to one of ease and a dignified, prosperous life.

Rohingya Muslims: The Forgotten Tragedy
More than 200 migrants have gone missing at sea, most of them Rohingya Muslims, after a boat carrying them capsized during a desperate journey in search of safety and a life away from persecution and displacement.
Ar-Rayah Newspaper: The situation of the Rohingya Muslims is extremely tragic, as most of them have been subjected to extermination by the criminal Buddhist regime in Myanmar, while others have been forcibly driven from their homes to live as refugees in camps in Bangladesh. This incident is not an isolated tragedy. Instead, Rohingya Muslims have repeatedly endured such ordeals. These perilous sea journeys often turn into heartbreaking stories of loss, drowning, and survival—stories of a mother embracing her child in their final moments, a father searching for a future for his family, and young people who carried their dreams across unforgiving seas that showed them no mercy.
The Rohingya crisis, along with other calamities faced by Muslims, has demonstrated one clear reality: Muslims have become weak and incapable of defending and protecting themselves following the dismantling of the Khilafah (Caliphate). It was their protective shield, the structure that safeguarded their interests and took responsibility for their affairs, ensuring their protection and care.

The Khilafah (Caliphate) State Will Restore Honor to Islam and the Muslims and Humiliate Disbelief and the Disbelievers
There is no good in the rulers of the Muslim countries, as it is unlikely they will return to the right path. Therefore, reliance can only be placed on the Muslim Ummah when it establishes a state, and then they will be united in one state embodied in the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) under an aware political leadership with a firm and unwavering will. Their deeds are recorded in the pages of history; they defeated the two greatest empires, Persia and Rome, in a number of years. They continued their conquests in the east and west of the earth until nations submitted to them, and massive armies were defeated before them, and the crowns of kings, emperors, and Lords fell at their feet. This is the fate of America, it will be crushed, Allah willing, and forced to close its bases and withdraw its troops across the Atlantic, dragging the tails of defeat and shame. Thus, the noses of Trump and his ilk will be rubbed in the dirt.
[قُل لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَى جَهَنَّمَ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ]
“˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the disbelievers, “Soon you will be overpowered and driven to Hell—what an evil place to rest!”” [Aal-i-Imran: 12]
It is true that Iran is launching attacks on American military bases in the Gulf, and it is true that it has launched similar attacks against the Jewish entity. It is also true that these attacks possess a degree of power. However, the rulers of Iran cannot defeat America and turn it back upon itself unless the Khilafah (Caliphate) is established, supporting Allah and implementing His laws, so that it may be victorious by Allah's permission, illuminating the world with its justice and Jihad, and Allah will honour it with His nasr (victory). Allah (swt) said,
[إِنْ تَنْصُرُوا اللهَ يَنْصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]
“O believers! If you stand up for Allah, He will help you and make your steps firm” [Muhammad: 7].
Then America will be taught lesson after lesson until it realizes the truth. America is fighting Muslims today from their own lands and airports, using its agents to repel attacks on the Jewish entity. The Khilafah will storm these agents' strongholds and expel them decisively. The Khilafah will mobilize the Muslims along its path, increasing its strength until it becomes a raging torrent that reaches America's bases outside Muslim lands. A mighty flood will then be unleashed, destroying the thrones of rulers in its path, liberating Palestine, and utterly crushing the Jewish entity. This is easily attainable, Allah willing, even though many consider it a fantasy. The Ummah possesses a powerful, river-like creed and harbours deep hatred for America and the Jews due to the severity and magnitude of their oppression. These scenes of victory are not far off, Allah willing, when Allah (swt) grants His great victory. Perhaps what the Muslim Ummah will do afterward, and what the battlefields will proclaim, surpasses even the most eloquent description. Allah (swt) has established His way in this world, according to His words:
[وَكَانَ حَقّاً عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ]
“For it is Our duty to help the believers” [Ar-Rum: 47].

Tearing Apart the Lands of the Muslims Is a Major Crime and All Who Participate in It Bear Its Sin
It is truly painful that the head of evil, the disbelieving, colonialist America, is able to orchestrate a war that takes lives in Sudan through its agents, who implement this scheme openly rather than secretly, and publicly rather than covertly. They are aided in this by a complicit and misleading media, as well as mercenary politicians who have no concern except for worn-out seats of power that they occupy, while the disbelieving colonialist power directs and controls the situation from behind the scenes.
The fragmentation of Muslim lands is a major crime, and all those who participate in it bear its burden of sin. It is reported from Arfajah ibn Asad that the Prophet (saw) said, «مَنْ أَتَاكُمْ وَأَمْرُكُمْ جَمِيعٌ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ، يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَشُقَّ عَصَاكُمْ، أَوْ يُفَرِّقَ جَمَاعَتَكُمْ، فَاقْتُلُوهُ» “Whoever comes to you while your affair is unified under one man, seeking to divide your unity or split your community, then kill him.” (Narrated by Muslim). And Muslim also narrates from Abu Said al-Khudri that the Prophet (saw) said, «إِذَا بُويِعَ لِخَلِيفَتَيْنِ، فَاقْتُلُوا الآخِرَ مِنْهُمَا» “If allegiance is given to two caliphs, then kill the latter of them.”
Therefore, it is a Shariah obligation upon the sincere officers of the army, the people of military power and protection, to stop this heinous crime, and to prevent America, and all the colonialist countries and their tools, from implementing their disastrous plans in our country, and to support the great project of the Ummah, by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood; for it alone is the way out and salvation.

You are the people of Islam, the people of strength and defense. You are those who defeated the Russians and the British in this region, and you are the ones who can defeat America today. You have already seen that even a single Muslim power is capable of humiliating America in pursuit of its national interests, dismantling its illegitimate offspring, the Jewish entity, and holding the global economy hostage. So what will be the case when a united Muslim قوة strength under the Khilafah (Caliphate) confronts America, controls the world’s most critical maritime passages, and uproots the Jewish entity entirely? When European states, one after another, accept your conditions for oil supply, and sign agreements based on your terms for trade within the Muslim world. The sun of American dominance would set today if you were to remove these agent Muslim rulers, who are America’s true source of strength.
Among you is Hizb ut Tahrir, the carrier of the Khilafah project, capable of uniting all Muslim lands under the banner of the Khilafah and consolidating the Ummah’s armies and resources, until the Ummah becomes the dominant superpower in the world, not just within the Muslim world.
O Muslims, call upon your sons in the mujahid Pakistan Army to grant their military support (nussrah) to Hizb ut Tahrir, so that you may attain the victory you seek in this world and success in the Hereafter. Allah (swt) said:
[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]
“O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and make your foothold firm.” [TMQ Surah Muhammad: 7].

The True Solution for the Muslim World and the World at Large Lies in Dismantling the Capitalist System
The true solution for the Middle East and the world lies in ending the role of capitalism and for the world to look to a new system that restores justice and humanity to this world. There is no other system than Islam, embodied in the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. It alone is capable of transforming the face of justice on this world and spreading its light.
However, it needs the first step which is its establishment on the international stage, in the form of a Khilafah, and this responsibility lies upon us as Muslims. There must be a Hizb with a project for this state and capable of steering its ship safely to shore, and of confronting the remnants of the capitalist system and bringing it to a complete end. Praise be to Allah (swt) that Hizb ut Tahrir exists today and it possesses everything required. All that remains is for the armies to grant the Hizb military support (nussrah) and empower it to implement its project, which is the resumption of the Islamic way of life upon the Method of the Prophethood.
We hope from Allah (swt) that we may be among those who are appointed as successors (mustakhlafin), and not among those who are replaced (mustabdilin). O Allah, employ us in what You love. Allah (swt) said,
[فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا فَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُم مَّا أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ إِلَيْكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفُ رَبِّي قَوْماً غَيْرَكُمْ وَلَا تَضُرُّونَهُ شَيْئاً إِنَّ رَبِّي عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ﴾
“But if you turn away, I have already delivered to you what I have been sent with. My Lord will replace you with others. You are not harming Him in the least. Indeed, my Lord is a vigilant Keeper over all things.” [TMQ Surah Hud 57].

Our Glory Lies Only In That Which Our Forefathers Possessed, Those Who Conquered the World With Truth and Humbled Falsehood With Justice
The depths into which humanity has plunged due to its submission to unjust laws makes it incumbent upon the Islamic Ummah to reject these man-made reference points entirely, in word and deed, and to disavow anyone who injects his poisons into its awareness. Today, the ideological obligation and radical solution is the certainty that international law is a tool of soft warfare, devised to strip the Ummah of its weapon and its Aqeedah of Jihad, the very awakening that causes the thrones of tyranny to tremble.
Every Muslim who fears Allah (swt), whilst not fearing the people, must immediately engage in serious work with sincere activists to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate), the divine system that derives its sovereignty from revelation, and stands upon the edifice of a comprehensive Aqeedah, in order to serve the interests of humanity with absolute justice, a justice that neither bends to whim nor favors the powerful.
Our Iman that this Deen, which is from Allah ﷻ as a mercy for all humanity, obligates us in Aqeedah and conduct to strive earnestly with the sincere to establish the righteous Dawlah (state) of Islam. That state compels tyrants with its justice, breaks the might of aggression, and shatters the shackles of enslavement wrapped around the Ummah's neck under gilded modernist labels.
Today, we openly disbelieve in the global taghut (false authority) and affirm the sovereignty of the Shariah of Allah (swt) alone. We have no honor except by that which Allah (swt) honored the early generations, those who believed, then remained steadfast, conquering the world with truth and humiliating falsehood with justice.

The Traps of Interest-Based Debt and the Path to Escape From Them
Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad, met on Tuesday, April 14, with Makhtar Diop, Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation. This took place on the sidelines of his visit to Washington to participate in the Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the role played by the International Finance Corporation in supporting and empowering the private sector in Egypt. In a comment written for the Radio Broadcast of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir, Ustadh Saeed Fadl, a member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Egypt, stated: This meeting, and the promises it included about empowering the private sector in the fields of energy, mining, and infrastructure, is in reality nothing but a continuation of the regime’s policy of diplomatic begging, which it has mastered. The reality of selling off assets, and mortgaging the wealth of future generations, is being dressed up in polished language about structural reform and a flexible exchange rate.
O people of Egypt, Al-Kinanah: What is being orchestrated in these meetings is a death sentence for the economic future of your children. The so-called empowerment of the private sector is, in reality, empowerment of foreign investors and sovereign funds to take control of the state’s key sectors, while the local civilian sector remains merely a forced laborer for sovereign institutions and military companies, that swallow major projects and leave only scraps of contracts to civilian contractors, at prices that do not even cover costs, forcing them into bribery and technical fraud just to survive.
We call upon you to raise your voices and demand that the sincere elements within the Egyptian army put an end to this tampering with your resources, and grant military support (nussrah) to Hizb ut Tahrir to lead the real project of change one that restores independence to Egypt Al-Kinanah and dignity to the Ummah, far from the dictates of colonial powers and their tools.

Britain Maintains Its Influence in Tanzania Through the Commonwealth Platform
On April 8, 2026, the Commonwealth Special Envoy, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, former President of Malawi, arrived in Dar es Salaam to strengthen dialogue with stakeholders regarding the easing of political tensions and addressing grievances following the general elections held on October 29, 2025.
In a comment written for the Central Media Office Radio of Hizb ut Tahrir, Ustadh Saeed Bitoomwa, a member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Tanzania, stated: Given that Tanzania had been under British influence since the colonialist era until its “independence” in 1961, Britain, as an influential power, has consistently taken strong initiatives to intervene whenever political unrest emerges, through the platform of the Commonwealth, in order to protect and reinforce its influence and authority, and to prevent the United States from intervening.
For example, in 1996, when political tensions prevailed in Zanzibar between the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (Revolutionary Party) and the Civic United Front, the Commonwealth sent its Secretary-General, Emeka Anyaoku, as a key diplomatic mediator to reach a power-sharing agreement between the two rival parties.
Moreover, these envoys reveal a bitter reality: that developing countries in Africa and elsewhere are neither truly free nor independent, but rather incapable of resolving their own problems. More importantly, their regional organizations such as the East African Community and their continental bodies such as the African Union are unable to rescue their nations, make independent decisions, or provide genuine solutions. Instead, they receive directives and superficial remedies from former colonialist powers in London, Washington, Paris, and beyond.
It is time for the peoples of Africa to embrace and support Islam and which, through its Khilafah (Caliphate) state, would bring peace and justice and put an end to bloodshed and the exploitation of Muslims and humanity, as well as expelling all colonialist powers by force, as occurred when the Portuguese invaded East Africa in the 17th Century.
