It is humiliating and shameful for a media personality in Sudan—a land of devout worshippers, fighters, and mujahideen—to speak of normalization with the Jewish entity. This comes at a time when the entire world witnesses their crimes—crimes that only a complicit individual who has sold their conscience, or someone devoid of reason and insight, could overlook.

Rishan Oshi penned a lengthy article titled "Why Leave ‘Israel’ to the Militia?" on August 29, 2026. She writes as if she inhabits another planet, seemingly oblivious to the crimes of the Jews—crimes that have outraged the entire globe, sparking uprisings against them even within America itself, the primary backer of that monstrous entity. She writes this piece as if she does not belong to this great Ummah—an Ummah whose men, women, children, and elderly are being systematically imprisoned and slaughtered by the Jews! In this malicious article, she states, “If the militias are seeking out ‘Israel’ and opening channels of communication with it, why does the Sudanese state leave this arena vacant? For years, ‘Israel’ has been pursuing a project of broad regional influence, with the Red Sea as one of its primary targets. It views maritime security, ports, agriculture, water, energy, and natural resources as strategic priorities. Sudan, conversely, possesses assets few others have: an exceptional geographic location, an extensive Red Sea coastline, vast agricultural lands, abundant livestock and mineral wealth, and immense water resources. Are we to leave all these assets lying idle, only to complain later that others are capitalizing on them?”

If this is not an act of humiliation, submission, and the surrender of land and resources to an aggressive enemy that kills and plunders, then what is it?

The undeniable truth is that no media figure would dare make such a poisonous and suspicious proposal without a green light from the country’s political and military leaders. These leaders had previously reached agreements with the Jews and—months before the war—hosted political, military, and security delegations, as well as Jewish leaders, in Khartoum; these are the very murderers whose hands remain stained with Muslim blood. In a further act of humiliation and disgrace, Sudanese Defense Minister Yassin Ibrahim gifted an M16 combat rifle to the then- Intelligence Minister of the Jewish entity, Eli Cohen, in January 2021. Cohen later stated via the Hebrew news site Ynet that he was surprised by the gift, noting that it was a real assault rifle, not a toy. What does it mean for an army commander to gift his weapon to his enemy? The servile statements regarding normalization that we hear today from certain media figures and others admit of only one interpretation: the government is plotting a sordid political scheme with the Jews. It does so fully aware that this is a vile crime and an affront to the Iman of the local people—people who are well aware of Jewish treachery and who, along with the rest of the world, witness the crimes committed by the Jews against the Ummah, including imprisonment, displacement, murder, and destruction.

This is happening even before the full disgrace of this scheme—or the impending treasonous agreement—is laid bare, may Allah bring them to shame and thwart their wicked plot. All pretenses have already fallen away regarding such crimes and agreements with the colonialist and occupier—practices to which the political establishment and certain military commanders in our country have become accustomed. The government frequently recruits media figures to launch “trial balloons,” gauging the Ummah's stance and reaction: will it be a routine response, or one that is powerful, sweeping, and—crucially—exposes and shames the perpetrators?

And that is precisely what the response must be: powerful, sweeping, and exposing—without mincing words, for the issue is of the utmost gravity.

It is an act of sheer audacity and treason for anyone—be they media personality, politician, or military officer—to speak to us of normalizing relations with the murderous Jews, the “brothers of apes and swine.” We, the Muslims, are the best of nations, yet we have suffered—and continue to suffer—at their hands. The scars of the war in the South and the subsequent secession remain—a crime sponsored by America, in which the Jewish entity brazenly participated through media, military, and security channels. Then there is the admission made by Avi Dichter—the head of internal security for the Jews—in his famous lecture from September 2008, circulated online, where he spoke of this plot and the collusion against Sudan. He admitted their involvement in the secession of the South and revealed plans to separate Darfur—a scheme currently underway with the participation of politicians, military figures, and media personalities. Consequently, this insidious call for normalization with the Jews—issued by this media personality—is far from innocent; regardless of the stated motives or justifications, it is part of that very plot.

Let every collaborator against us know that we Muslims are the greatest Ummah, possessing the world's richest lands and resources; we have no need to surrender our territory and wealth to our enemies. There is no motive for such suspicious calls—dripping as they are with treason—whether coming from a media figure, a politician, or a military officer, other than subservience to the enemy!

To the honorable and sincere media professionals in Sudan: You are Muslims; it is your Shariah obligation to stand with your Ummah, not with our enemies who lie in wait and commit aggression.

And to you, Oshi—the media personality in question—fear Allah (swt) regarding yourself, your country, and your people. Wherever the Jews have set foot, corruption, destruction, and ruin have followed. Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa—the site of the Prophet’s (saw) Night Journey—remains held captive and usurped by the Jews.

The events in Gaza stand as a testament to the criminality of the very people this media personality wants us to reach an agreement with! Do they not see how Gaza has been abandoned by rulers, wept over by noble women, and left unaided by men? History is replete with evidence of the crimes committed by the Jews, and the Noble Quran is the greatest witness of all. Do you not follow the unfolding genocide in Gaza? Do you not read history? Indeed, do you not read the Noble Quran? Allah (swt) said,

[لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا]

“You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers to be the Jews and the mushrikeen who associate partners with Allah.” [TMQ Surah Al-Maa'idah: 82].

O Allah, we ask You for a state that establishes Islam, implements its Shariah, unifies the Ummah, and champions the oppressed on earth—a Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, O Lord of the Worlds.
