Muslims truly long for the Khilafah. Among the ruins of humiliation and destruction that afflicts the Muslim world, today Muslims are waiting for the earthquake, the day when Muslims in Turkey, the Arab countries and the rest of the Islamic countries take the initiative they have lost, and let go of any loyalty except to their Lord, and from any system except the system of their Deen, the great Islam.

With an unprecedented 82% turnout in voting, the opposition alliance, Pakatan Harapan (PH), ousted the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) in a historic victory at the 14th General Elections of Malaysia. The victory also brought about another historic event – the swearing in of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed as the 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia at the age of 93.

In our contemporary world, power politics dominates international relations and this has given undue prominence to the concept of military balance in determining relations between states. Both peace and war are decided as a function of military balance amongst states.

We see the suffering of Muslims nowadays. We see the shedding of the innocent blood of the Ummah worldwide. We see the injustice and invasion of the Muslim countries through the unbelievers, and we see the hypocritical leaders of the Islamic world selling their Ummah and their Deen for a worthless price.
