Indonesia: Hizb ut Tahrir with the Ummah's scholars condemn Ahok governor of Jakarta, who insulted the Quran and the Ulemah

The Ulemah have been outraged over the Christian Ahok governor who is hateful against the Holy Quran and thus in turn hateful against the Islamic faith in which 90% of the population adhere to this Aqeedah.

Therefore the scholars who are the inheritors of the prophets held a series of a Council for Islamic Research meetings throughout Indonesia included the capital city of Jakarta and Yogyakarta and Bogor, Surabaya largest city in Indonesia after Jakarta and Serang and Pandag and other cities.

In the councils, they discussed the sayings and fatwas of the Ummah’s Ulemah about the comprehensive ruling (hukm) regarding the insulting and desecrating the Quran. On this occasion, Hizb ut Tahrir in Indonesia called upon the Ulemah who attended these councils to work with the party to resume the Islamic way of life, and the application of Islamic law, the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" State (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood ... since the Khilafah "Caliphate" alone is capable of protecting the Quran from insult and desecration, and capable of protecting the Islamic Ummah of all offenders and predators, our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in the Hadith said, "الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه ويتقى به"“Indeed, the Imam (Khaleefah) is a shield, from behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected.
