Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Lebanon: Open Dialogue

"The Hukm Shari' in the Lebanese Elections"

Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Lebanon invites you to an open dialogue to discuss the following questions:

1. What is the Shar'i ruling on participating, nominating and electing in these elections?

2. Is not the legislation of the functions of the deputy? Is legislation for humans or for the Lord of mankind?

3. Is it not a duty for the general public in Lebanon to boycott the elections in order to show the true size of the representation of the corrupt deputies among the people, and to affirm that no legitimacy is given to the renewed feudalism?

4. Is participation in these elections a participation in the reproduction of the current corrupt political class itself?

5. Is the saying that "if we do not elect  then corrupt MPs will come to parliament" a correct statement? Is not the current electoral law made by politicians themselves in order to maintain their seats?

6. Isn't  election boycotting the real expression of the withdrawal of confidence from this corrupt system?

The Open Dialogue will take place on Friday, 04/05/2018 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at the Headquarters of Hizb ut Tahrir in Abu Samra (Tripoli).

Friday, 18 Sha'ban 1439 AH corresponding to 04 May 2018 CE
