EPISODE 1
The Islamic Khilafah has unique flags, the “Liwaa” and the “Raya.” The evidence is derived from the first Islamic State, which the Messenger of Allah ﷺestablished. The Liwaa flag is white. “La Ilaha illa Allah, Muhammadur RasulAllah ﷺ,” is written upon it in black text. It is tied to the chief (Ameer) of the army. It is used as a standard flag (a’lam) for him alone. The evidence for this is what was narrated by Ibn Majah, أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَلِوَاؤُهُ أَبْيَضُ "That the Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah on the day of its conquest. His Liwaa flag was white.”

EPISODE 2
The Rayah banner is black. “La Ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah ﷺ” is written upon it in white text. It is carried by the military commanders of the divisions, battalions, detachments, and other units, of the army of the Khilafah. The evidence for this is that the Prophet ﷺ, while being the chief of the army in Khaybar, said,
«لأُعْطِيَنَّ الرَّايَةَ رَجُلا يُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ﷺ ، وَيُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ﷺ, فَأَعْطَاهَا عَلِيًّا»
"I will give the Raya banner tomorrow to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him.” And he gave it to Ali (ra).” (Agreed Upon)

EPISODE 3
The Prophet ﷺ said,
« وَإِنَّهُ لاَ نَبِيٌ بَعْدِي وَسَتَكُونُ خُلَفَاءُ فَتَكْثُرُ» قَالُوا فَمَا تَأْمُرُنَا قَالَ، «فُوا بِبَيْعَةِ الأَوَّلِ فَالأَوَّلِ» “There is no Prophet after me. There will be Khaleefahs in large numbers.” His Companions (ra) said, “What do you order us to do?” He said, “Give bay’ah to only one, at a time.” [Muslim]. Imam An-Nawawi said in his Sharh that, “If a Khaleefah is given bay’ah after another Khaleefah has already been appointed, then the first appointment is valid. It must be fulfilled. The second is invalid. It is forbidden to fulfil it. It is forbidden for him to demand that fulfilment. This is irrespective of whether the Muslims knew of the first Khaleefah or not. It is irrespective of whether they were in the same or different lands, or one of them was in a land totally separated from the other.”

EPISODE 4
The Prophet ﷺ said,
«إِذَا بُويِعَ لِخَلِيفَتَيْنِ فَاقْتُلُوا الآخَرَ مِنْهُمَا»“When the Bayah has been taken for two Khaleefahs, kill the latter of them.” [Muslim]. Imam an-Nawawi said in his explanation, that, “The ‘ulema have agreed that it is not permissible for two Khaleefahs to be appointed, at the same time. This is irrespective of whether the Islamic state was widely spread or not. Imam al-Haramain (al-Juwaini) said in his book “al-Irshad,” that, “Our contemporaries view that it is not permitted for two people to be appointed at one time (as Khaleefah). My opinion is that it is not permitted to appoint two Khaleefahs in a single land. This opinion is agreed upon. ””
