US-Pakistan Relations: Consistent Subjugation Under Biden and Trump

On 21 January 2025, during his visit to the US, the Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan expressed hope that Pakistan-US relations would strengthen under President Donald Trump. However, America’s policy toward Pakistan remains unchanged. It is a policy to subdue and weaken Pakistan, while eliminating any possibility of an Islamic uprising, regardless of whether Biden or Trump is in power. In their war against Muslims, the people of kufr stand united as one. Trump bombed Muslims in Afghanistan using Pakistan’s air corridor, facilitated the surrender of Occupied Kashmir to India and supported the genocide that the Jewish entity carried out in Gaza. Now Trump fully supports the continued occupation of the Blessed Land of Palestine. Only by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah can the tyrants of the world be forced into retreat.

Government Invokes the Punishment of Allah for Dealing in Riba

Pakistan has agreed terms for a $1 billion loan with two banks at a 6%-7% interest rate, its Finance Minister declared on 21 January 2025. The rulers of Pakistan have pushed Pakistan into the debt trap of Riba. The largest budgetary expense is now Riba, whilst the national debt keeps increasing. Riba is the prominent manifestation of economic colonialism. It is one of the rulings of kufr that prevents the Muslim World from rising to its full potential. It is a grave sin for both the one who pays Riba and the one who takes Riba. Allah ﷻ said,

[وَأَحَلَّ اللَّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا]

“But Allah has permitted trading and forbidden riba.” [TMQ Al-Baqarah:275] For centuries under the Khilafah, the Ummah had the world’s largest economy without the curse of Riba and will again inshaaAllah.

The Booby-Trapped Ceasefire in Gaza Permits Continued Occupation and Aggression by the Jewish Entity

On 23 January 2025, the Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “We unequivocally condemn the latest “Israeli” raid in the Jenin Refugee Camp of the West Bank resulting in the killing of ten Palestinians. Such actions potentially undermine the precarious ceasefire in Gaza and international community should take note of it.” However, the international community, led by America, designed a booby-trapped ceasefire agreement to give the Jewish entity space to increase its occupation. Only the Ummah and its armies can end the continued brutal occupation by the Jewish entity. The Muslims must demand that their relatives and friends in their armed forces remove the cowardly rulers. The Muslims must demand they give their Nussrah to Hizb ut Tahrir for the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah.

Cultural Colonialism Ensures the Suppression of Islamic Expression

The National Assembly on 23 January 2025 passed a controversial amendment bill to cybercrime laws in order to curb political expression, amid a walkout by journalists from the proceedings. Throughout the Muslim World, cultural colonialism ensures the dominance of the Western culture and political stances. At the same time, cultural colonialism ensures the suppression of Islamic expression in general, and Islamic political expression in particular. At a time that the genocide in Gaza has awoken the Ummah, the rulers of Muslims are increasing their suppression. However, the tyrants cannot prevent the rise of the Truth. Allah ﷻ said,

[يُرِيدُونَ أَنْ يُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللَّهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُتِمَّ نُورَهُ]

“They wish to extinguish Allah’s light with their mouths, but Allah will only allow His light to be perfected” [TMQ Surah at-Tawbah 9:32]

Infighting Does Not Benefit Islam or Muslims

On 25 January, 2025, the media wing of the armed forces stated in a press release, “On 24-25 January 2025, thirty Khwarij were killed in three separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province”. Since the humiliating departure of the US from the region, the military leadership of Pakistan has allowed airstrikes in Afghanistan, by providing air routes to the US. It has also ensured tensions spike on the Durand Line, the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Ummah is being attacked and butchered from all sides, whilst the soldiers and tribal fighters of the Ummah are engaged in fighting each other. It is a Shariah obligation on them to join forces and give a befitting reply to the Hindu State and the Jewish entity. It is only the Khaleefah Rashid who will unify all the armed forces of Muslims under his command.

Trump’s Calls for the Ethnic Cleansing of Gaza Demands the Mobilization of the Armies of Muslims

Has the sheer devastation of the helpless Muslims of Palestine by “Israel” not been enough? While talking to reporters in Air Force One on 26 January 2025, the US President, Donald Trump, openly called for the ethnic cleansing of the Muslims of Gaza. Trump signaled that the conflict is far from over, by describing it as a “demolition site,” and proposing to “clean out” Gaza, and discussing with the agent leaders of Jordan and Egypt about relocating the Muslims of Gaza to their countries, either temporarily or long-term. In fact, the conflict has entered a new, more twisted phase. In light of these alarming developments, it is a Shariah obligation that our armed forces mobilize to protect the Muslims of Palestine and preserve the sanctity of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa.

The Capitalist System Focusses on Production of Wealth, Whilst Ignoring Its Distribution

On 27 January 2025, it was reported that Pakistan Railways terminated 18% of its “unnecessary staff” to align with reforms required by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), as part of its $7 billion bailout program. The number of unemployed men has surged to unprecedented levels. The capitalist system focusses on production of wealth, whilst ignoring distribution of wealth. The Prophet ﷺ said, «الإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ وَمَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ» “The Imam is a guardian and he is responsible for his subjects.” (reported by Al-Bukhari). The Prophet ﷺ ensured that Muslims had a means to earn wealth. Hizb ut-Tahrir states in its “Introduction to the Constitution,” “Article 153: The state must secure work for all subjects holding citizenship of the state.” The Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood will end widespread unemployment.
