Elections are a Means to Perpetuate a Secular System that must be Changed by Establishing the Khilafah

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia held a press conference at the conference headquarters in Ariana in the capital Tunis at 10:30 am local time entitled "Elections are a means to perpetuate a secular regime that must be changed by establishing the Khilafah". The conference was presented by Ustaadh Abdul Raouf Al-Amiri, Head of the Political Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia, Ust. Muhammad Al-Nasir Shuwaikha, Member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia and Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia, and Professor Yassin Bin Yahya in the presence of a group of guests.

The three speeches of the conference delivered by the participants in the conference addressed three axes:
1. The first axis by Ust Abdul Raouf Al-Amiri was entitled "A reminder of Hizb ut Tahrir's position on the political path from the beginning of the revolution until today".

2. The second axis was discussed by Ust Mohamed Al-Nasser Al-Shuwaikha about "calling for the Ummah's project without allowing us to be classified or falling into a duality of for or against participation in the elections, and highlighting the universality of the party and that its project is a Ummah's project and calling on the Ummah to work with us because it is the only one that has a civilizational project stemming from the Ummah's doctrine and is capable of liberating it from foreign influence and reviving it."

3. The third axis was delivered by Ust Yassin Bin Yahya, who gave the closing statement of the press conference, in which he focused on five points:

First: That the comprehensive radical change of the regime that people demanded to be overthrown at the beginning of the revolution cannot be achieved through elections under the umbrella of secularism.

Second: The ruling systems in place in Islamic countries, their source and continuation are in the hands of Western countries.

Third: The battles that the regime promotes at every election station, in order to distract people from the great project of Islam, and for which lives are wasted and generations of Muslims are destroyed, are taking place in the corridors of Western embassies.

Fourth: The regime cannot be overthrown and the country cannot be liberated from political dependence on the West except by the people of power aligning with their people, so that the conflict is resolved in favor of the nation.

Fifth: The revival of nations cannot be achieved by changing a ruler and amending a constitution, but rather lies in overthrowing the regime and all its intellectual, cultural and legal settlements and replacing it with the system of Islam revealed from above the seven heavens.

Thus, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia continues its political struggle against this system formulated by the Kufr West and all its projects that only increase the hardship of the people of Zaytouna in their lives until it achieves its goal, which is to resume Islamic life by establishing the state of the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood, saving humanity.
