On 27th April 2016, an American organization, the Pew Research Center, issued a survey entitled “How much should the Quran influence our country’s laws?” According to this survey around 78 percent of Pakistanis “strictly support” the idea that teachings of the Holy Quran should influence the countries laws.
An American official, visiting Sudan, said that she is looking forward to the implementation of strong laws that will support gender equality including laws that will set a minimum age for marriage, ban female circumcision and treat violence based on gender - as well as other issues that need political reforms.

Obama, the American President arrived in Saudi Arabia on 20/04/2016 in a visit which represented his fourth since assuming the presidency in 2009. He held the first of his sessions with its King, Salman Aali Saud, before the GCC-U.S. Summit convened on the day following the visit to Riyadh.
