Indonesia pledges to provide more mechanisms to protect women and children's rights, announced Indonesian Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Yohana Susana Yembise on March 12 at an UN meeting in New York, as reported by many national and international media on 13th March. The 59th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) from March 9 -22 is to discuss the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action in the past decade.
Minister Yembise emphasized that gender equality has become one of the keys to comprehensive and sustainable development in Indonesia, as highlighted in the mid-term national development plan from 2015-2019. The minister acknowledged that Indonesia is still facing challenges, including a high maternal mortality rate at 359 per 100,000 births, the rapid spread of HIV/AIDS among women, the increasing number of women and children victims of violence, and a low rate of females in the country's legislative, executive and judicial sectors. A total case of violence against women in Indonesia - during 2014 alone was reaching 293,220 cases, reported by National Commission of Women's Rights in early of this March.
Comment:
Apparently, Indonesia government keeps their Western-oriented stance to be subjugated into secular idea of gender equality for solving mountains of women problems in Indonesia. In fact, gender equality is not a universal value and is often used to criminalize the Islamic Shariah related to women. This idea actually emerged from the Western history and its civilization problems that view women inferior than men intellectually and spiritually.
This kind of political attitude to bind themselves to any forums and international treaties that promote gender equality, prove that this Muslim country obviously has been blinded by the secular solutions promoted by the West as a solution for women. Indonesian government needs to realize that has been more than three decades since the ratification of CEDAW in this country, but it has never brought any improvement for millions of women, rather the problems of violence and exploitation are increasing from year to year.
On the other side, the Indonesian government must not forget Islam. During the golden era of Islam in the Archipelago, any practices of exploitation and enslavement of women were almost unheard. On the contrary, the cases have been widespread since the Western colonialism began to penetrate this region until modern nowadays. In the Islamic civilization history, it has never been engraved the oppression of women as in the Western civilization, because Islam originally views that women have the same status, intellectually, and spiritually like the men. Islam also has a set of comprehensive, fundamental solutions for the society institution, not only for women.
During these times, many secular Muslim rulers have been so arrogant when dealing with the Islamic Shariah. Please be humble! Open your mind to accept and learn Islam with sincerity, and turn away from the West and its shackled agreements! Remember the words of Allah:
((اتَّبِعْ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ))
"Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord, there is no God but Him and turn aside from the mushrikin" [TMQ Al-An'am: 106]
O Muslim rulers, open your heart and mind to see the sincere struggle from the Women of Hizb ut Tahrir who are currently holding a global campaign "Women and Shariah: Separating Reality of Fiction" challenging the West's worn out concept of gender equality, also the toxic narrative of women's oppression under Shariah, oppose the accusations against certain Islamic laws related to women, as well as to explain the basis, values, and laws of the unique Islamic Social System to visualize the lives of women under the correct implementation of Shariah and how its implementation in various fields of society will solve many problems women faced today. This is the fourth year that passes since the start of the Islamic revolution in the blessed land of Ash-Sham, and it is still standing steadfast like the mountains facing the conspiracies against it, in front of the deception of the Kaffir West and its cronies, and so declaring a war against the international system, which did nothing but stand in solidarity with the oppressor against the oppressed, and with the butcher against the victim, and why not when it was the one who brought this butcher to control us and oppresses us with the worst torments and prevents the return of Islam to the realm of life. The attempt to restore the flag of the French mandate, or the so-called (the flag of the revolution) after its clinical death is only a step to satisfy the Kaffir West, and it is a part of this plot. We on this occasion of the passing of four harsh years of the blessed revolution of Ash-Sham wish to remind the Muslims in the blessed land of Ash-Sham of the fundamentals of their revolution which the Kaffir West and its agents in the region are working to contain, by calling for negotiations with the regime instead of toppling it, and they throw themselves in the arms of the West instead of taking it as an enemy, and call for the civil state that satisfies their masters instead of the guided Khilafah "Caliphate" that satisfies Allah (swt).
O Muslims in the land of Ash-Sham in the abode of Islam: It has become clear that America is working to create a military force to control the ground through several methods: either by training of factions to become agents and pushing them against their brothers, or through an international military intervention under the leadership of the crusader alliance led by America, or by the freezing of fighting under humanitarian pretext. In doing so, it would pave the way for the transition to the second phase, which is the introduction of the National Coalition to the land of Ash-Sham after it is secured by imposing a safe area for it to lead the plot to contain the revolution, after it was doing so externally as a legitimate representative of the revolution, and internally by trading in livelihoods and some of the services provided to people and buying some factional leaders with funds provided by the Kaffir donor states and their agents, then they will be made to negotiate with the regime, providing a safe way out for it, and the formation of a constituent body to change the constitution on the Western standard, and then the election of the people's council and its winner will be the one who America is satisfied with, and then a superficial presidential election will be conducted and the henchmen of America will run, and the candidate that will be appointed by America to the presidency will the winner. Thus the country remains under the control and oppression of America, and thus the revolution of Ash-Sham and its sacrifices will be eliminated. This is what America and the West are planning for; But Allah encompasses them from behind.
O Muslims in Ash-Sham of Glory: to understand the nature of the conflict we must refer to the fundamentals given to us by Al-Alim and Al-Khabeer, Allah (swt) says:
((وَلَنْ تَرْضَى عَنْكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلَا النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ...))
"And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion." [Al-Baqara: 120]
This is their reality, and Allah (swt) says:
((وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ))
"And they had planned their plan, but with Allah is [recorded] their plan, even if their plan had been [sufficient] to do away with the mountains." [Ibrahim: 46]
This is the size of their plots, and He (swt) says:
((يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ...))
"They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths" [At-Tawba: 32]
This is the reality of their goals. The only way for us to stop them, by Allah, and to be victorious of both worlds is by full compliance to the orders of Allah (swt) after depending upon Him; we must sever all relationships with them, and reject their henchmen in compliance with the saying of Allah Azza Wa Jal:
((وَلَا تَرْكَنُوا إِلَى الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا فَتَمَسَّكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ ثُمَّ لَا تُنْصَرُونَ))
"And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped." [Hud: 113]
And we must cut the line supplying us with their political dirty money that almost spoiled our revolution, because their money as He (swt) describes:
((إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ...))
"Indeed, those who disbelieve spend their wealth to avert [people] from the way of Allah" [Al-Anfal: 36]
We must stand against their Crusader alliance on our Revolution, and not seeking its support, in compliance with the words of Allah (swt):
((وَلَنْ يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا))
"and never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them]" [An-Nisa: 141]
And for the saying of the Messenger (saw):
»لا تَسْتَضِيئُوا بِنَارِ الْمُشْرِكِين»
"Do not use the fire of the Polytheists"
We must rely on our capabilities and ourselves only after putting our trust in Alah (swt) alone, and the belief that victory is from Allah alone as He (swt) says:
((وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ))
"And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise" [Al-i-Imran: 126]
And to have patience in Allah's decree in compliance with His saying:
((اسْتَعِينُوا بِاللَّهِ وَاصْبِرُوا إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لِلَّهِ يُورِثُهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ))
"Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants. And the [best] outcome is for the righteous." [Al-A'raf: 128]
And for the saying of the Messenger (saw):
»النَّصْرُ مَعَ الصَّبْرِ، وَالْفَرَجُ مَعَ الْكَرْبِ، وَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا»
"Victory is with patience, relief is with affliction, and ease is with hardship."
We must be united, military and civilians, under a clear political project that pleases the Lord of Glory Azza Wa Jal, to achieve our promise of Allah (swt):
﴿وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَنْ كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ﴾
"Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient" [An-Nur: 55]
And the glad-tiding of the Messenger (saw):
»ثمُّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً على مِنْهًاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ«...
"Then there will be Khilafah "Caliphate" upon the method of Prophethood"
((إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَذِكْرَى لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهُ قَلْبٌ أَوْ أَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ))
"Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind]" [Qaf: 37]
At the invitation of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, a group of political and tribal leaders, intellectuals, and journalists, assembled at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum on Saturday 23rd Jumada I 1436 H, corresponding to 14th March 2015, in a workshop that lasted for more than five hours. The workshop was concluded by the following declaration:
* The core of the crisis in the country is the injustice caused by the absence of a rightful political thought; the great ideology of Islam, the thought which lifts the injustice, establishes the truth, and spreads security.
* The state of insecurity, and indulging in the forbidden (Haram) blood, which the Darfur and Kordofan regions suffer from, and the carrying of arms against the state, is the fruit of the oppression by the successive regimes that govern the country, due to their non-application of the rightful systems of Islam, which created a suitable environment represented in Hawakeer, tribal entities and Public Administration. So it exacerbated the situation, and as a result discordance, disagreement, murder and displacement have crept on a Jaahili (ignorance) basis; tribal or ethnic, where instincts were promoted, and the correct ideological thought disappeared.
Vision on the basis of the great ideology of Islam:
* The duty of Muslims is to descend upon the Shar'a rule, and to reshape their lives on the basis of the Islamic Aqeedah by the criterion of Halal and Haram. They should not accept other than the rule of Islam. And it is not permissible for any party to prevent the application of the Shar'a rule, on the basis of the party or the tribe. Almighty says:
((فَلا وَرَبِّكَ لا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ لا يَجِدُوا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَرَجًا مِمَّا قَضَيْتَ وَيُسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا))
"But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission." [An-Nisa: 65]
* The Islamic brotherhood bond is the bond that is not overridden by other bonds. The Almighty says,
((إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ))
"The believers are but brothers" [Al-Hujurat: 10]
* There are is no existence, legitimately, of the so-called Hawakeer; i.e. tribal lands, under the Islamic way of life, and no regard for the hypocrisy of the rulers and the regimes for these tribes. For the land belongs to Allah, and He gave succession to the humans. As for the individual, he owns this land for housing or agriculture as a private property in accordance to the legitimate (Shar'i) reasons defined by Islam. It is not permissible for a Muslim to prevent any person, on the basis of the party, the tribe or other, to own a land. Yahy ibn Urwa related from his father that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: «مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا مَيْتَةً فَهِيَ لَهُ»
"If anyone revives dead land, it belongs to him". (Narrated by Abu Dawood) Amr ibn Shuaib said that Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
«من عطل أرضا ثلاث سنين لم يعمرها فجاء غيره فعمرها فهي له»
"Whoever neglects a land for three years and another person comes to revive it then it belongs to him". (Narrated by Bukhari)
* Pastures, forests and woodlands are public properties which should benefit all the people. It was narrated from Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: «ثَلاثٌ لاَ يُمْنَعْنَ: المَاءُ وَالكَلأُ وَالنَّار»
"Three things cannot be denied to anyone: water, pasture and fire." (Sunan Ibn Majah) Abdullah ibn Hasan al-Anbari said, "My grandmothers, Safiyyah and Duhaybah, narrated to me, that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,
«الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ يَسَعُهُمَا الْمَاءُ وَالشَّجَرُ وَيَتَعَاوَنَانِ عَلَى الْفَتَّانِ»
"A Muslim is a brother of a Muslim. Each one of them may benefit from water and trees, and they should cooperate with each other against the Satan."
* The herders have the right for the presence of paths for their livestock. As the farmers have the right for their farms not to be infringed by herders' livestock, otherwise the herders guarantee what they damage. And the state's prestige and power is the guarantor of establishing justice and abolishing falsehood. The Messenger of Allah (saw) says: «لا ضَرَرَ وَلا ضِرَارَ»
"There should be neither harming (darar) nor reciprocating harm (dirar)."
And Haram ibn Sad ibn Muhayyisa related that a female camel of al-Bara ibn Azib entered the garden of a man and it did some damage to it. The Messenger of Allah (saw) gave a judgment that:
«أَنَّ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْحَوَائِطِ حِفْظَهَا بِالنَّهَارِ وَأَنَّ مَا أَفْسَدَتْ الْمَوَاشِي بِاللَّيْلِ ضَامِنٌ عَلَى أَهْلِها»
"The people of the garden were responsible for guarding it in the day, and the owner of the animals was liable for what the animals destroyed at night."
* Allah Almighty made the tribes so as to know one another, and not for superiority or boasting. So do not take it out of this sphere to the sphere of hatred and rivalry among the people. He (swt) says:
((يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ))
"O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted." [Al-Hujurat: 13]
* Whoever kills he bears the graveness of his action, and his matter is decided by the deceased's guardians, who have the right to retribution (Qisas), blood money (Diya) or pardon (A'fw). The Almighty says
((وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيَاةٌ يَا أُولِي الألْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ))
"And there is for you in legal retribution [saving of] life, O you [people] of understanding, that you may become righteous." [Al-Baqara: 179]
It is not permissible for any party or tribe to intervene in order to impose a choice on the deceased's family.
* The system of Public Administration on tribal basis does not exist in the Islamic way of life. As the Administrative System in Islam is drawn up by the Prophet (saw). It is clear and detailed in your hands, and is characterized by the following features: "the efficiency of the system, speed in carrying out the tasks and competence in those who are in charge of administration". The Prophet (saw) said:
«إن الله كتب الإحسان في كل شيء...»
"Allah obliged kindness in everything..." (Narrated by Muslim)
* Carrying arms in the face of the state is the result of injustice. It is naturally resolved by the application of the truthful systems of Islam, and the extension of the prestige of the State and its authority, as well as drying the hotbeds of conspiracy; from the greedy embassies and international organizations in our country.
* Only the great ideology of Islam, when applied in its own state, the Khilafah "Caliphate" State, is able to melt the different fighting and hating tribes and races, in one homogeneous, harmonic, loving nation; which is the Islamic Ummah, as it has melted it before. The Exalted in Might said,
((وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ لَوْ أَنْفَقْتَ مَا فِي الأرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَا أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ))
"And brought together their hearts. If you had spent all that is in the earth, you could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them together. Indeed, He is Exalted in Might and Wise."[Al-Anfal: 63]

The Citizen Newspaper dated 12 March 2015 reported the UN condemnation on the wave of albino killings in Tanzania. Speaking in Geneva Mr Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, expressed disgust at the albino barbaric killings and mentioned Tanzania, Burundi and Malawi as places where the lives of people with albinism are at risk. He further warned that the surge in Tanzania could be linked to looming General Election campaigns in October this year.
Prior to this despondent and dejected report, there had been earlier awful revelation by the UN in the year 2013 indicating that Tanzania amongst the East African countries, is leading from the pitch pertaining the barbaric killings of albino. According to Albino Advocacy Groups, the number lurks somewhere above 100,000 out of a total of roughly 48 million Tanzanians. Not only that, the wails and cries concerning the kind of brutality muted out against the albinos, is rampart and are always raised by the citizen and various institutions. This issue has taken a tremendous effect in society recently, especially by the escalation of the brutality against the albino. It is believed that since 2000, there have been at least 74 albino killings and 58 brutal attacks in which people have lost limbs or have been left permanently scarred

Also the killings are believed to have been motivated by a lucrative trade in albino body parts, which some Africans believe possess magical powers. Unfortunately, the association of these brutal and barbaric acts against innocent and defenseless people in electoral activities is more painful and heartbreaking than when committed in different scenarios by normal civilians. In the sense that, the politicians in their capacity as leaders who must serve the people, ought to be on the front line in the fight against these brutalities. Contrary to expectations, they employ these activities in their quest to achieve their own selfish ends, if ever achievable.
This deleterious circumstance is usual under the yoke of the heinous capitalist ideology. Firstly, the capitalist politicians are always ready to indulge in any act be it atrocity, murder, even destruction of their own people whom they deceive to serve, in an endeavor to achieve their selfish goals. Secondly, the capitalist politicians basically rule to serve themselves rather than serving the electorates as they usually claim. In reality, they are there to amass wealth for themselves.
This ignominy which is embedded in the capitalist ideology and its ruling system democracy is crystal clear in every corner of the world due to its criteria of benefit in carrying out actions. It is now high time for serious work to be performed to obliterate this invalid ideology from the face of the earth and replace it with Islam under the guardianship of its ruling system Khilafah "Caliphate" in an endeavor to rescue mankind from the heinous brutality and annihilation of the capitalist ideology.
