On Thursday 18 December, the Interior Ministry contacted the US embassy and asked to provide experts in the field of security issues for South Asia so they can help the committee comprising of all parliamentary parties, which has been assigned to formulate strategy to fight terrorism.
Despite strong opposition against the formation of the new security bill, eventually the president of Kenya Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta has signed into law. Consequently, Hizb ut Tahrir East Africa would like to mention the followings:
The quick and forceful signing into law of the new security bill clearly exposes the ill motives of the government and the respective security forces aiming to continue in the oppression and subjugation of innocent citizens especially the Muslims who without any slight doubt are the real target of this draconian law under the pretext of combating terror. We say it is a continuation of oppression since before the promulgation; the Muslim community has witnessed brutal killings of their brothers by the security agencies under the guise of fighting terrorism.
Looks like this new draconian law of security, has taken a new stance on the war on terror. This is to gag and subdue the media and prohibit them from reporting the brutality being committed by the security forces! It's awfully sad that despite clear evidences showing the involvement of the security agencies in these atrocities the government keeps on denying any involvement.
This law keeps divulging the lies of the democratic slogans upholding freedom including freedom of expression and information by the media. All these and many others happen even after the democratic politicians have taken oath to protect democracy and its laws, at the same time they turn a blind eye and spurn all what they claim to uphold what already contradict their constitution. It's only recent, that it has been discovered that America, the nation that brags itself worldwide to be the advocate of human rights, that the CIA have been involved in the cruelty and brutal torture of the suspects of terrorism. In short, the capitalist ideology is a mere illusion and fallacies that even the capitalists themselves don't trust.
Security can be improved without the passing of any draconian law which themselves breach security. We have been repeating over and over again that the security apparatus under the yoke of capitalism democracy are always used by the politicians to protect their selfish interests not those of citizens. That is why; it is quite often to find drug barons are in collaboration with the security agencies in this heinous merchandise.
Finally, we strongly believe that all the laws channeled to fight terrorism being passed by any developing countries are a result of western regimes pressure. As we have stated earlier on, the western regimes have absolutely failed to fight Islam both intellectually and ideologically, prompting them to resort to all conceivable means of torture and oppression against Muslims who are the proponents of Islam who will soon form the just and righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" State to proliferate justice and remove injustice and oppression under its shade.

Muslim countries in Southeast Asia such as Indonesia and Malaysia will face the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) on December 31, 2015 - as a form of regional economic integration in the region. Through this regional integration, ASEAN will be transformed into a single market and production base then become a free flow of goods, services, investment, labor, and capital. The leaders of Indonesia and Malaysia are enthusiastic in preparing themselves to welcome the implementation of AEC and continue to tether their hopes on this agreement. ASEAN's commitment to be a free market enhanced through the concept of an ASEAN Community with its slogan: one vision, one identity, one community. Thus the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) became one of the pillars in the formation of the ASEAN community beside the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC) and the ASEAN Socio-Culture Community (ASCC).
Comment:
It is foolish and misleading if Muslim leaders in Indonesia and Malaysia set their economic expectations on ASEAN Economic Community, moreover if they were ratified and then implement it in their lands. This behavior asserts the dysfunction of their role as leaders and statesmen, who prefer to facilitate international trade and foreign investment rather than directly fulfill economic needs and the welfare of their people. Instead of prospering their people, the freedom of investments and foreign dominance in the domestic market; clearly become the most effective instrument of imperialism, and endanger people economies. It has long been proven that free trade is an instrument of imperialism of Western countries against Muslim countries; such as this quote - US statesman Henry Clay pointed to the necessity of the United States developing a defensive capability by quoting a British leader, ‘Nations knew, as well as [ourselves], what we meant by "free trade" was nothing more nor less than, by means of the great advantage we enjoyed, to get a monopoly of all their markets for our manufactures, and to prevent them, one and all, from ever becoming manufacturing nations.' This means the potential market and economic investment in Southeast Asia will only be exploited by the economic giant countries, to become a recovery tool for financial crisis which suffered by US and China today who really need real market for their products.
The next aspect that we should examine is the destructive impacts. Not only poverty and exploitation of the wealth, but this cancerous regime will also have great impact on the destruction of society and Muslims family building. Because of this regime truly an admirer of secularism and a devotee of economic growth that treats Muslim community no more like economic engine as the market and cheap labor. While the matters of religion, morals, dignity, social harmony of each component of society will obviously be ignored. Let's learn from their trail of breakage that carved in their own countries, they having economic progress but suffering detriment civilization; rapid development is often accompanied by a social crisis, the collapse of the family institution, widespread criminality, violence against women and children, and high suicide rates, in addition to falling birth rates which are in large part due to the massive involvement of women in the labor force.
The same syndrome sooner or later will be experienced by the Muslim societies in Southeast Asia, if its leaders continue parroting the West and join implementing free trade agreement that is clearly an imperialist regime as well as the cancer that eats away Muslim community. O Muslim rulers, Remember the words of Allah:
قُلْ هَلْ مِن شُرَكَائِكُم مَّن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ ۚ قُلِ اللَّـهُ يَهْدِي لِلْحَقِّ ۗ أَفَمَن يَهْدِي إِلَى الْحَقِّ أَحَقُّ أَن يُتَّبَعَ أَمَّن لَّا يَهِدِّي إِلَّا أَن يُهْدَىٰ ۖ فَمَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُون
"Say ‘It is Allah who guides to the truth. Is then He Who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed, or he who finds not guidance (himself) unless he is guided? Then, what is the matter with you? How do you judge?" [TMQ Yunus: 35]

Aljazeera.net website reported that political, tribal and social Sunni forces held on Thursday 18th December 2014, a conference in Erbil in the Kurdistan Region under the theme "Arab conference to combat terrorism and extremism", in order to develop a unified position for the political Sunni forces in the face of the ISIS.
The conference was held under the auspices of Osama Najafi, Vice President of the Republic, and attended by ministers and members of the parliament representing Sunni political forces and participants in the political process, in addition to a number of Arab and foreign ambassadors, including the US ambassador to Iraq.
The organizers of this miserable conference seek to implement the final chapter of the repugnant US occupation project, namely dividing Iraq into regions and then fragment it as a service to their masters, who they installed spokesmen on behalf of the Iraqis selling what they do to own; after they had supervised all the previous crimes against their families and their country to reach this stage. Thus the patrons of this conference did not hide their purpose - according to Al-Arab newspaper - as the issue of forming a Sunni region in Iraq, after the expulsion of ISIS, topped the side dialogues, and the Vice President Osama Najafi stressed that the "Sunni Arabs will not be fooled by promises and will not give up their right to form a constitutional territory".
Dear honorable people of Iraq:
You know that Iraq is an Islamic country since it was opened by Muslims whom irrigated its land with their pure blood, so it became part of the Khilafah "Caliphate" State, and then was the center of the Islamic state, with its capital in Baghdad. We have warned you repeatedly of the Kaffir occupiers projects, particularly the "Regionalization" project contrary to the laws of Allah, which is intended to displace the people, fragment the country and weaken it, and create pockets through which the Kuffar penetrate to strew the seeds of conflict and discord and ignite wars between yesterday's brothers. So hasten to your unification under the banner of Islam, which Allah honoured us by it, and made us witness over all the people.

((وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ وَاصْبِرُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ))

On December 18, 2014, Vakhitov District Court in Kazan ruled to criminalize the best representatives of the Ummah, who have pronounced the word of truth, without fear of the unjust regime. The court shared lies with the security agencies and sentenced members of Hizb ut Tahrir; Ildar Shaykhutdinov and Azat Khasanov for five and a half years, and six and a half years, respectively, in jail for nothing, except for courageously defended the Islamic values and Muslims.
Yesterday de VolksKrant Newspaper published an article confirming that many Muslims in the Netherlands may have been exposed to numerous harassments and attacks due to the phenomenon of Islamophobia, and that the numbers of incidents associated with the Islamophobic; and hostile discourse to Islam and Muslims have increased significantly in recent times.
