In another brutal US airstrike in Baraki Barak district of Logar Province, around eight soldiers were killed and five other wounded. According to district governor of Baraki Barak, at 6:00 am on Monday morning, two US helicopters attacked a checkpoint in Baraki Barak district of Logar province. He said the targeted outpost was "not a suspicious area as the Afghan flag was waving at the checkpoint when the Americans launched their attack.”
Michael Hayden, former Director of the CIA, declared that the Sykes Picot agreements through which Iraq and Syria arose were not divided in accordance to their factional and ethnic realities; and that what the region is witnessing in terms of violent events and catastrophic wars are heading in themselves towards a division that is in accordance to this reality which the European States should have originally paid attention to when making the Sykes Picot agreement at that time.
On 14th July 2015, Syed Ali Geelani, a highly respected leader of the Muslims of Kashmir, firmly rejected the invitation from Pakistan High Commissioner to an Eid celebration party on 21st July, on the grounds that the Kashmir issue was "ignored" in the joint statement between India and Pakistan, issued after the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, and Indian premier, Modi, held a meeting on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Ufa, Russia, on 10 July. Geelani said that, “the Kashmir issue is question of life and death for us. Nobody can take us for granted. And I will not attend the Eid Milan (celebration) in New Delhi to register a symbolic protest.”
According to the news published in CNN on 16th July, 2015, the killing of a 13 year old vegetable vendor named Samiul Alam Rajon who was accused of theft, has triggered angry protests in Bangladesh after the footage of the killing went viral on social media. The clip shows the victim tied to a post and beaten to death with a metal rod, while his attackers laugh and jeer during the attack in Kumargaon, Sylhet. From the footage, which is recorded by one of the murderers, it is evident that the boy was mercilessly beaten for more than half an hour and not even allowed to drink a glass of water during the ordeal.
The idea upon which Hizb ut-Tahrir is established, which is embodied in its members and which it works to melt the Ummah with, so that she takes it as her issue, is the Islamic idea, i.e. the Islamic ‘aqeedah together with the laws which originate from it and the thoughts which are built upon it.
