Hizb ut Tahrir members in Belgium organized a seminar entitled "Muslims in Europe, to which direction?" on Sunday, March 15 2015.
In the overflowing hall, the seminar began after the recitation of the Quran, and then the following three points were discussed:
1. How the West deals with Muslims.
2. Muslims' reactions to this manner.
3. The direction in which Muslims in Europe should follow
Thus, the first talk showed how Islam and Muslims are in the front line with capitalism after the fall of the Soviet Union and its regime, and how the West since has been assimilating Muslim communities in their societies by the so-called adaptation and integration, which in reality means the refusing the others and accepting only those within the secular purely framework .
The second speaker spoke in detail about the solutions offered by some Muslims from the Muslim community through associations or mosques committees and others, those solutions which mainly includes the participation of Muslims in political life which entails the violation of legitimacy and obliterating Islamic identity and losing one's Islamic identity. Thus Muslims are obligated to search for legitimate government (Shari'i) in all its actions and to change the current situation to be inline with Islam and does not try to change the provisions of Islam to in line with one's desires and reality.
The last talk in which he discussed the lecturer to demonstrate the Islamic ruling on Muslim life in the West, and how the Muslims to maintain their identity and their relationship and their belonging to the Islamic Ummah, and that is their duty to work with them to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing a second Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of the Prophethood
The meeting concluded with a duaa in which Mubarak Naji asked Allah Almighty to bless the Muslim Ummah and hasten the establishment of a Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of the Prophethood to rid the people from the clutches of capitalism and remove them from the oppressive darkness to the light of Islam and justice.
