On October 25, 2013 Pakistan's UN ambassador condemned US drone strikes, and declared that it was a gross violation of Pakistan's sovereignty and international law. He said, "Killing unarmed, innocent civilians is a clear breach of international law. We call for the immediate cessation of drone attacks inside the territorial borders of Pakistan." Earlier in the week, Pakistan Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif pleaded at the White House with US President Barack Obama to end drone strikes. He told reporters at the end of his trip that he ‘emphasised the need to end such strikes'.
Since 2004, Pakistan's territory has been violated 365 times by American drones. These robotic fixed wing planes have indiscriminately killed thousands of innocent people. According to the Bureau of Investigative Journalism the number of people killed by American drones is estimated to be between 2525 and 3613, this is considerably higher than what has been admitted by the UN, American and Pakistani officials.
Misreporting death figures is not the only item US and Pakistani officials have been accused of. Both inside Pakistan and abroad there is a deep belief that Pakistan's civil and military leadership is collaborating with America to conduct drone strikes. After all, robotic drones -irrespective of their technological sophistication- still require on the ground real-time intelligence to identify, track and confirm kills. This requires an extraordinary level of support andcollaboration from the Pakistani state. In the absence of such collusion, American drones would be flying blind and firing way off the mark.
A day after Sharif implored Obama to end drone strikes, The Washington Post published a damning report, revealing that the Pakistani government has for years secretly endorsed the drone strikes and routinely received classified briefings on strikes and casualty counts. The report is based on top-secret CIA documents and Pakistani diplomatic memos. In one quote the paper states: "The documents detailed at least 65 strikes in Pakistan and were described as ‘talking point' for CIA briefings, which occurred with such regularity that they became a matter of diplomatic routine. The documents are marked ‘top -secret' but cleared for release to Pakistan.
Even present and former Pakistani officials have admitted that Pakistan and US are working in together to launch drone strikes inside Pakistan. In September 2013, Khurram Dastgir-Khan, a senior member of the current government, admitted to the National Assembly that "tacit support" for US drone strikes by organs of the Pakistan state might be continuing. During an interview in 2013, Pakistan's former President and Army Chief Pervez Musharraf acknowledged that he had given the USA qualified permission to undertake some US drone strikes in the Tribal Areas during his tenure, which ended in August 2008. Wikileaks also published details of Pakistani officials consenting to US drone attacks. In 2008, Pakistani Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani personally consented to American drone strikes in Pakistan's tribal areas along the Afghan border to combat the Taliban.
Whilst Nawaz Sharif still likes to deny his involvement in assisting America's drone programme, the joint statement issued after his visit to the Whitehouse only serves to underscore his culpability. The 2500 word statement makes no mention of halting drone attacks, and only makes a fleeting reference to the topic as to respect ‘sovereignty and territorial integrity'. It is as if the whole visit was just intended to raise the issue and nothing more.
So clearly then, Pakistan's civil and military leaders are mired in providing America unstinting support to carry out drone attacks and to assassinate Pakistani citizens. There is no remorse and no recompense for the innocent victims. There is only high treason and a deep sense of betrayal executed on such a grand scale by Pakistani leaders that it belittles any overtures made to Washington to stop the attacks. Allah says:
((يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَخُونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوا أَمَانَاتِكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ))
"Do not betray Allah and His Messenger, and do not knowingly betray your trusts." [Al-Anfal: 27]
If Nawaz or any of his predecessors were sincere in halting the attacks, no begging trips to Washington are required. All they have to do is to withdraw ground support and kick-out American military personnel as well as American contractors who are free to roam the country. This action alone would render the drones ineffective. And if any drones violate Pakistan's airspace they should be blown to smithereens. These two actions are more than sufficient to bring an end to America's robotic birds and give Pakistan some respite from America's global war against Islam.
However, the long-term solution requires the Pakistani people to get rid of such leaders who hold the whole country hostage to America's whim. This can only be accomplished by ridding the current corrupt system and replacing it with the Caliphate. The Caliphate will not only defend Pakistan's borders but also teach a lesson to foreign powers that make the grave mistake to violate its territory.

President Obama must be counting down the last few days till the end of October, for it has been a month of mayhem for US prestige on the world stage. Today, 28th October, the US ambassador to Spain was summoned by the Spanish government to explain the revelations in two Spanish newspapers, El Mundo and El País, that the National Security Agency (NSA) has collected data on 60 million Spanish telephone conversations. Only one week earlier, the Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, had said with uncanny prescience at a conference in Brussels that: "Spying activities aren't proper among partner countries and allies". He was, at the time, referring to earlier revelations about NSA spying operations on other European Union partner countries.
Earlier this week, a string of revelations from the German media led by Der Spiegel showed that the NSA was even monitoring German Chancellor Angela Merkel's mobile phone, and had been doing so since 2002. Angela Merkel became Chancellor in 2005, which means that the NSA must have been targeting a great many influential German politicians. A further indication of the scale of the spying operation is that it was being run from within the US embassy in Berlin, rather than a hacker's terminal in New York. The White House refused to deny that the German Chancellor's phone had been spied on, preferring to insist that currently her phone is not being monitored. As for the claim in Germany's Bild am Sonntag, that Obama was informed about the monitoring of Angela Merkel's phone in 2010, the NSA did deny that.
Comment:
These allegations, as well as those made previously about spying on the French and other nations are based upon the huge leak of documents made available by Edward Snowden, who was formerly a US defence contractor. Snowden's documents also reveal the cost of US intelligence operations, which have a current ‘black budget' of $52.6 billion. This, however, is dwarfed by the US national debt, which passed the previous ceiling of $16.7 trillion only after Congressional approval for raising the ceiling that was delayed due to internal wrangling. The US was left exposed at the beginning of the new fiscal year on 1st October, and was only days away from a disastrous default on its debts. Tens of thousands of government employees were sent home without pay and services to the American people were put on hold for many days until an agreement was reached. The financial crisis even had ludicrous implications for the spying scandal. The Guardian newspaper reports that the US sent four representatives to a Human Rights hearing today, but that they were exposed to condemnation for being unable to discuss details of the US spying operations on account of: "the October government shutdown prevented them from adequate preparation."
The fact that the US dollar is the world's reserve currency, and that its military might can compensate for its political woes means that for now it can bully its friends and enemies alike. This strange imbalance will not be able, however, to avail it forever.

Over the past 4 days, about 20-25 people have been killed from political violence and police shootings during strikes called by the opposition BNP Alliance in demand for a neutral election time government. This brings the death toll resulting from political violence and police shootings to about 2800 during this year (2013). But this is not all. Democracy has been killing the people of the country all along and in numerous ways. The desperate cries of those who lost their loved ones in Rana Plaza still rings loud in our ears. We can make an endless list of killings by democracy. Furthermore all of the following hold true of democracy:
Democracy = Corruption and looting
Democracy = Half the people living in poverty
Democracy = Oppression of women
Democracy = Vilifying Islam and RasulAllah (saw)
Democracy = Imperialist domination
Etc, Etc
These are the fruits of over two decades of Awami-BNP politics and democracy. So why is there a big fuss about ensuring a so-called free and fair election? And what does it matter if Hasina and Khaleda hold a dialogue or not? The Mozena-Pankaj dialogue is what matters most in this system where Hasina and Khaleda are only agents of their masters, U.S. and India. And whether there is dialogue between Hasina-Khaleda and whether there is an all-party participated election or one-sided election the results will be all the same. There will be no real change in people's lives. Real change will come only by discarding the entire ruling regime. This requires the sincere military officers to take the side of the people. The people are crying out for change but the means for change is not in their hands. The means are with the sincere officers, for they are the ones who have the material power to overthrow the regime. Thus overthrowing this regime is a duty on their neck but not for establishing military rule; rather they have to transfer the authority to the sincere and aware politicians to establish the Islamic rule - the Khilafah "Caliphate" state.
Hizb ut Tahrir therefore urges all sincere, aware and thinking people towards the following actions:
1. Reject the rule of Awami-BNP and their democratic system. Do not be the silent victims and witnesses of the deaths and destruction caused by them. And do not wait for their dialogue and their elections to once again vote and bring either of them to power;
2. Join with Hizb ut Tahrir in struggling against the current regime and working for establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate"; and
3. Demand from your fathers, uncles, sons, relatives and friends among the military officers to overthrow the ruling regime; and transfer authority to Hizb ut Tahrir for establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate".
And our call to the sincere officers in the military is as follows:
1. Fulfil your responsibility as Muslims. The duty to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" is upon your neck as much as any other Muslim; in fact it is even more as you hold the key to authority i.e. the material power.
2. Fulfil your oaths which you took to serve the people and the country. Your oath is not to guard the regime which oppresses the people and serves their enemies.
3. Emulate the Sunnah of RasulAllah (saw) and be the Ansar for establishing the second Khilafah "Caliphate" State. With the help of the Ansar (ra), RasulAllah (saw) established the first Islamic state in Madina and that State continued until 1342 Hijri (1924 CE). If you become the Ansar for the second Islamic State, Allah (swt) will reward you in the same way as the first Ansar (ra), inshaAllah. Therefore overthrow the Hasina government immediately and transfer the authority to Hizb ut Tahrir for establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate".

American Secretary of State John Kerry stated recently that the basis of the Geneva I Conference was to form a transitional government in Syria with the consensus of all parties; this is what Geneva II aims to implement. He threatened indirectly that the only alternative to a negotiated settlement would be the continuation of the killing operations if not their increase.
The message carried to the Kremlin by brother Ildar contained the hostile policies pursued by the system of the Russian Federation against Muslims, from preventing the Khimar (headscarf) in educational institutions, the prohibition of Islamic books, including the Holy Qur'an, the killing of Muslims and the attacks on Muslim women by the police.

Wa Alaikum Assalaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatahu,
Yes, my brother, the Khulafa' al-Rashidun used the banner and the flag of Islam. The evidence for that is what was narrated from the Messenger of Allah (saw), that his banner was al-Uqab and his flag was white. From this evidence is the following:
1. An-Nasa'i reported in his Sunan al-Kubra, and al-Tirmidhi from Jabir, that the Prophet (saw):«دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ وَلِوَاؤُهُ أَبْيَضُ» "He entered Mecca and his banner was white."
Ibn Abi Shaybah in his work reported from ‘Amrah, who said: «كَانَ لِوَاءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْيَضَ» "The flag of the Messenger of Allah (saw) was white."
2. It is reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawood, and An-Nasa'i in his Sunan al-Kubra from Yunus Bin ‘Obaid, whose master was Mohammed Bin al-Qasim, who said: "Muhammad Bin al-Qasim sent me to Al-Bara' Bin ‘Azib to ask him what the banner of the Messenger of Allah (saw) is. He said: «كَانَتْ سَوْدَاءَ مُرَبَّعَةً مِنْ نَمِرَةٍ» "It was a black square of fabric."
3. At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah reported from Ibn Abbas, who said:«كَانَتْ رَايَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَوْدَاءَ، وَلِوَاؤُهُ أَبْيَضَ» "The banner of the Messenger of Allah (saw) was black and his flag was white."
4. Ibn Abi Shaybah reported in his work from al-Hassan, who said:«كَانَتْ رَايَةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَوْدَاءَ تُسَمَّى الْعُقَابَ» "The banner of the Prophet (saw) was black and called ‘al-Uqab'."
This suffices as evidence to show that the Khulafa' al-Rashidun followed the example of the Messenger of Allah (saw) with the banner and the flag. They would not leave a matter announced by the Prophet (saw) except that they would abide by it. There is no need for further research on the banner and flag under the reign of the Kulafa' al-Rashidun, for two reasons:
First: Because the Hukm Shar'i is taken from the Prophet (saw).
Second: The Khulafa' al-Rashidun did not leave a remarkable act done by the Messenger of Allah (saw) such as the banner and the flag.

Within the last two weeks of October 2013, a number of reports and various discussions had been raised in the Malaysian press, in particular the alternative media sites and the various social media sites on issues related to the practices and spirit of Islam. The issues concern the use of the word ‘ALLAH' by non-Muslims, the submission of a report by the Coalition of Malaysian NGOs (COMANGO) in the UPR Process to the Office of the UN High Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR) and the carrying out of the Qurban (ritual slaughter) during Eidul Adha in school compounds.
Comment:
The issue concerning the use of the word ALLAH by non-Muslims, specifically the Christians have been debated for years in Malaysian. Recently, the Court of Appeal has ruled that the word ALLAH is banned from being used by a Catholic weekly newspaper, Herald. Discussions ensued after the ruling with criticism and praises being hurled all over the place. Not long after the ruling, another issue surfaced. Criticisms were hurled at COMANGO by the coalition of Muslim NGOs who maintained that the report threatens and undermines Islam, has the intention of spreading freedom and liberalism and opens the door for western influence which would threaten Malaysian sovereignty. About the same time, due to a phone call made by a Hindu man to the headmaster of a school that carried out the ritual of Qurban in the school premise, which went viral in various social media platforms, several statements on this issue were made by numerous parties. In all three issues, although claims had been made that neither attack nor disrespect on Islam is intended, what is clear is that the spirit (Ruh) of Islam have indeed been questioned and Islam has been put under scrutiny by the Kuffar and those whose hearts and minds are full of disease. Under the current circumstances, where the life of Islam is absent, Muslims are placed in a precarious position. Many, unfortunately, have compromised, allowing this great Deen to be undermined rather than standing firm, facing the adversaries bravely!
In reality, these issues are the consequences of a singular problem - the absence of Islam in our lives as Muslims. Islam in Malaysia and in all Muslim countries is only viewed as merely confined to religious rituals. The secularization of Islam forms the basis for the way life is viewed in today's world. In the case of the use of the word ALLAH, even though this is just a small issue, the subsequent discussion manifest voices of disrespect being openly hurled at Islam, not just by the Kuffar but also by several Muslims. Any attempt to glorify or express Islam as an ideology, even in the form of a ritual, such as the act of Qurban, will also be attacked, and again, a number of Muslims supported these attacks! Efforts are also spent at suppressing the Shariah even before it has the chance to be implemented as in the case of the report by COMANGO. Sincere Muslims who recognize that these are efforts of the Kuffar to destroy and undermine Islam are put is a highly precarious position. Trapped within the secular system, any effort to exert the truth of Islam and come to the defense of Islam only make these Muslims end up in despair. Today, in a world where non-Islamic ideas and systems dominate our lives, secularism seems to always manage to make its way above the efforts of these sincere Muslims. The 1 Malaysia concept promoted by Najib only made things worse. The Kuffar and those whose hearts and minds are full of disease see in this concept an opportunity to demand equality and the right to criticize, even in sensitive religious matters. Islam, it seems, is attacked left, right and center. Within the domain of secularism, it is a losing game. But if Islam dominates, if the Khilafah "Caliphate" is established, the defender of Islam will always prevail. Sincere Muslims! Answer the call to establish Islam! Establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" who shall protect you and protect Islam! And you shall never despair ever again.
