Indeed Brahimi, The Syrian Crisis is the Most Dangerous Crisis in the World! Because It will Culminate with the Establishment of the Righteous Khalifah, Allah willing

On Friday 10th of April 2013, Lakhdar Brahimi called for the International Security Council to unify its position to stop the conflict in Syria, announcing that the Syrian conflict is the most dangerous conflict in the world. This announcement coincided with the many statements from American administration officials warning against arming the rebels in ash-Sham, fearing that the arms would fall into the hands of extremists.

Democracies Days are Numbered

Recently a survey was released by the British Council in Pakistan. It indicates that the majority of Pakistan's youth support an Islamic state as opposed to democracy. It also suggested that a staggering 94% of the young generation, aged between 18 and 29 years, believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction, expressing their desire for real change in Pakistan.

Because of these facts the traitors in the political and military leadership and their masters in Washington have become very worried. This survey was widely published in the print media. Although, the electronic media did not mention this survey directly in their news bulletins or talk shows, but in order to dispel and address this reality, they aired various programs. In one live program who's title was "Democracy or Dictatorship" the participating youth rejected democracy and dictatorship and discussed Khilafah "Caliphate" to an extent that one of the participants proclaimed that it seems to me that this program is not on democracy or dictatorship, rather we are discussing only Khilafah "Caliphate" and that is what the majority wants. This live telecast got such a tremendous response from the viewers that the management of the channel increased its air time from the scheduled one hour to almost two hours. Similarly, the state TV channel PTV World, which is an English language channel, aired a talk show titled "Will election 2013 bring any change?" The anchorperson in her opening statement also referred to the same British council survey. During the discussion she accepted that the arguments against this motion are very strong, but at the end she encouraged youth to participate in the upcoming elections. Even before these programs, the largest media house in Pakistan, Geo had already launched a campaign in which, through various examples, they tried to convince people that it is not the failure of democracy rather it is the failure of one government. But it seems that all these efforts have not being able to change the opinion of the people. Now the Election Commission of Pakistan has made a deal with the popular cricketer Shahid Afridi that he will tour the country and encourage people, especially the youth, to vote. On top of that some of the religious figures have been asked to issue Fatawas in support of casting vote in this democratic system.

Five years ago in election 2008, a minority voted. This turn out was in an environment when people of Pakistan were very angry against the Musharraf  rule because of his pro-American stance, enlightened moderation and Lal Masjid tragedy and also there was a sympathy towards PPP because of the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. People wanted to get rid of Musharaf and his supporters. But after the experience of five years of uninterrupted democracy, people are convinced that, like dictatorship, democracy also is a tool which destroys the economy by implementing IMF and World Bank policies and it provides an opportunity for America to secure her interests at the cost of the people, country and Islam.

Now the Ummah is aware that this drama of dictatorship and democracy only serves the traitors in the political and military leadership and their American masters. The Ummah wants to liberate it self from the shackles of democracy and dictatorship and considers Islam as the only real change. These facts have been so much clear and established that on 20th April 2013, the chief American agent in Pakistan, General Kayani, during his address to the passing out parade of the officers of Pakistan army in Kakul, said "Let me remind you that Pakistan was created in the name of Islam and Islam can never be taken out of Pakistan". The Ummah awakens from its hibernation and is declaring Islam and its Khilafah "Caliphate" as its destiny.  One respondent to the British Council survey, Muhammad Usama, was quoted as saying "As a Muslim, I believe in Khalifah rule. Democracy is like giving your country and faith to America."

IMF Completes its Stranglehold over Tunisia and Moves to Egypt Next

For Tunisia, the deal is done. But as far as the bigger, trickier North African question goes, there are merely encouraging words. On Saturday, the IMF concluded terms with the Tunisian government on a crucial loan. Meanwhile for Egypt, while talks continue in Washington on the sidelines of the IMF spring meeting, no news is a worry. A quick recap on the Tunisia deal: it's a 24-month stand-by arrangement of $1.75bn. As for what the IMF demanded in return, this is from the IMF statement: ‘The implementation of an appropriate policy mix will help preserve macroeconomic stability and, together with a better composition of public expenditures, will help restore fiscal space for priority capital and social spending. A prudent monetary policy will aim at containing inflation while safeguarding the stability of the banking sector. Greater exchange rate flexibility-coupled with structural reforms to improve the competitiveness of the economy-will contribute to improving Tunisia's external position and rebuilding foreign reserve buffers'. Meanwhile, Egypt's impasse with the IMF was given mild encouragement by another Fund statement, this time saying: 'The authorities and IMF staff have made further progress in their discussions in Washington this weekend. The authorities are firmly committed to addressing Egypt's economic and financial challenges with the objective of restoring sustained and socially-balanced growth, and they are already taking encouraging actions in this direction. Work will continue with the objective of reaching agreement on an IMF Stand-By Arrangement to support the authorities' national economic program in the coming weeks'.

Jordan Opens Airspace For Jewish State Drones

Jordan has opened its airspace to Jewish State drones en route to monitor the situation in Syria, French newspaper Le Figaro has claimed in a report based on an interview with a Western military source in the Middle East. Jordan has opened two corridors of its air space to allow unmanned Israeli drones through to monitor the situation in Syria, the French newspaper Le Figaro reported on Sunday. The report is based on an interview with a Western military source based in the Middle East. There has been no official confirmation from any other source.

Jewish State General: Syrian Regime Has Used and Is Using Chemical Weapons

The Jewish State's top intelligence analyst on Tuesday accused the Syrian regime of using lethal chemical weapons in an assertion that puts pressure on the US over its pledge to intervene should Damascus cross what it has described as a "red line". Brigadier-General Itai Brun, head of military intelligence research at the Israeli Defense Forces, told a security conference in Tel Aviv that the lack of international response to the use of a chemical suspected to be the nerve gas sarin was a "very worrying development". He said: "There's a huge arsenal of chemical weapons in Syria. Our assessment is that the [Assad] regime has used and is using chemical weapons." Although the Pentagon and state department insisted on Tuesday there was no appetite for intervention in Syria, the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, speaking at a NATO meeting in Brussels, called on the alliance to make preparations to respond in the event of chemical weapons endangering one of its members, Turkey. Brun cited photographs of victims that showed them foaming at the mouth and with contracted pupils as signs that gas had been used. "To the best of our understanding, there was use of lethal chemical weapons. Which chemical weapons? Probably sarin," Brun told a conference organized by the Institute for National Security Studies. He specifically referred to 19 March among "a number of incidents" in which chemical weapons had been used by the regime, and criticized the lack of response by the international community. "The regime has increasingly used chemical weapons," Brun said. "The very fact that they have used chemical weapons without any appropriate reaction - this is a very worrying development, because it might signal that this is legitimate." The British and French governments said in letters last week to the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, that there was credible evidence Syria had used chemical weapons since December in or near the cities of Homs, Aleppo and Damascus.

American Drone Attacks Causing Hatred in the Muslim World

A bipartisan panel of senators held a spirited and unusually public debate on Tuesday afternoon about the legality and unintended consequences of America's targeted killings overseas, a forum convened amid growing calls for stronger oversight of the government's use of armed drones outside conventional battlefields. Senator Richard J Durbin, who presided over the hearing, said it was important to review whether current laws sanctioned drone strikes in countries such as Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia, where the United States was not formally fighting a war but relied on remotely piloted aircraft to killed suspected militants. "The use of drones has, in stark terms, made targeted killing more efficient and less costly in terms of American blood and treasure," said Durbin, who noted that the hearing was the first of its kind. "There are, however, long-term consequences, especially when these airstrikes kill innocent civilians." Among those testifying before a subcommittee of the Senate Judiciary Committee was a young Yemeni activist who argued passionately that American drone strikes in Yemen were emboldening the country's al Qaeda franchise, embittering Yemenis against the United States and delegitimising the government in Sanaa.

Burmese Security Filled Mass Graves with Muslims

Burmese security forces organised and stood guard over Buddhist attacks on Muslim settlements before burying scores of bodies, some with their hands tied behind their backs, in mass graves, Human Rights Watch said in a report on Monday. Evidence of official involvement in the massacres that left hundreds dead was gathered by HRW researchers at 27 different sites in Arakan State, including at four mass graves dug between June and October last year. The report is the most comprehensive evidence yet that the Burmese government colluded in a wave of ethnic attacks and was released just hours before the EU was due to drop sanctions on the Burmese regime as a reward for reformist pledges at a meeting in Luxembourg on Monday. At one mass grave near the town of Sittwe, local residents took photographs of the 18 bodies dumped in a freshly dug grave. The corpses had their hands tied behind their back with plastic strips used by the police. "They dropped the bodies right here," a Rohingya man, who saw the bodies being dumped and later buried told HRW. "Three bodies had gunshot wounds. Some had burns, some had stab wounds. One gunshot wound was on the forehead, one on the chest. Two men's hands were tied at the wrists in front and another one had his arms tied in the back."

More than 100 witnesses to the violence, which was speared by Buddhist monks and a nationalist political movement in the region, Rakhine Nationalities Development Party, cited repeated cases in which the police and army would arrive at the scene prior to an attack. Having reassured locals with a cordon, they would then breach promises by allowing attacks and joining in the violence.

Without the Khilafah, the Plight of Muslim Women Extends from Al-Sham to the Far East

  • Published in Khilafah
  •   |

Without the Khilafah "Caliphate" the shield of the Ummah, the suffering of Muslim women will never end. Last March was the bloodiest month in the Syrian conflict to date, with hundreds of Muslim women and children massacred in Al-Sham, the center of the abode of Islam. At the same time, thousands of Muslim Rohingya women in the Far East, oppressed by the tyrannical regime of Myanmar, have been expelled from their country and live in limbo, abandoned by the heartless Muslim rulers. Indonesian news agency, ANTARA reported on the 21st of April 2013 that Indonesian police had detained 76 Rohingya refugees from Myanmar in Tanglok Seaport, Madura Island, East Java Province, Indonesia on the evening of the 20th of April. The 76 refugees consisted of 48 men, 13 women, nine boys and six girls. According to The Arakan Project, it is estimated that 19,500 Rohingya Muslims have fled by boat from Bangladesh and North Arakan State toward Southeast Asian neighboring countries, with an estimated 100 people having drowned during the process. However, this is not the only ordeal being endured by Muslim women in the Far East. Thousands of the Sulu Muslim women and children have been oppressed by the Kufr regime in the Philippines, and then later in March became the victims of Malaysia's blind nationalism in Sabah. They were persecuted and killed by the Malaysian government which considers the Sulu Muslims and sultanate as a foreign entity that invaded the territory of Sabah in Malaysia.

These are the facts of the heart-wrenching suffering of Muslim women, extending from the center of Islam, al Sham, to the countries in the far east of the Muslim world. They are helpless victims of predator Kufr rulers who have been allowed by the existing world system to target Muslims. They have also been neglected by the puppet Muslim rulers who are the colonial remnants of the Western capitalist countries- those who have aborted their sense of humanity and become adulators of the secular and capitalist world system. As long as the world system remains as it is today, the plight of Muslim women across the Muslim world undoubtedly will never end, because the base problem of all this suffering is nothing but the absence of the Khilafah "Caliphate" as the shield for the Ummah - a state which would eliminate Kufr hegemony over the Muslims and protect the honor of Muslim women and children throughout the Muslim world.

Motivated by the Call of Allah and His Messenger to establish the glory of Islam in al-Sham and throughout the Muslim world, and in response to the word of the Messenger of Allah (saw):

‘الْمُؤْمِنُ مَرْآةُ أَخِيهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُ أَخُو الْمُؤْمِنِ يَكُفُّ عَلَيْهِ ضَيْعَتَهُ وَيَحُوطُهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ '

"The believer is a mirror to his faithful brother; he protects him against loss and defends him behind his back." [Sahih Bukhari], Hizb ut-Tahrir, has launched an important campaign and is to hold a vital women's conference on the 27th of April 2013 in Amman, Jordan. The conference entitled ‘Hasten to Establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" to Protect the Honourable Women of Al-Sham' although focusing on the massacre of Syrian women and children by the tyrant Assad and his murderous regime, is strongly relevant in its ideas, presentations and subject matter in responding to the plight of Muslim women around the world, including in the Far East. Moreover al-Sham is the abode of Islam, and the place of a revolution where the struggle is Islamic and one that aims to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" and apply the Islamic laws. So the victory of the Al-Sham revolution is the victory for all Muslims across the world. From those thousands of women who spilt their sacred, pure blood, and died an honourable death by standing firm against a tyrant ruler, will come honour for Muslim women from the Far East to Africa, Asia to the Arab world. For the Khilafah "Caliphate" will liberate other oppressed Muslim lands and their daughters, establishing for them security and dignity, reflected in the promise of the Mujahideen of Syria in their pledge, "O Rohingya, wait, we will help you. O Gaza, we will liberate you. O Masjid al-Aqsa, we'll save you!" Allahu Akbar!

O Muslim women in the Far East! O Muslim women in Al-Sham! The dawn of the Khilafah "Caliphate" is very near and we are one Ummah, we belong to one Deen, our Prophet is one, our Qur'an is one, our flag is one, and our struggle is one. Thus join the struggle for the establishment of the Second Khilafah "Caliphate" Rashidah which will silence those who attack and besmirch the honor of Muslim women around the world through the rule of Islam.

Oh People! Establish a New Political Movement to Free Yourselves from the Clutches of Awami-BNP's Destructive Politics

((أَلَمْ تَرَى إِلَى الَّذِينَ بَدَّلُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ كُفْرًا وَأَحَلُّوا قَوْمَهُمْ دَارَ الْبَوَارِ))

"Have you not seen those who have changed the Blessings of Allah into disbelief, and caused their people to dwell in the house of destruction?" [Surah Ibrahim: 28]

The Mufassirun of the Qur'an have stated that this ayah is regarding the Jahil chiefs of Quraysh who rejected the Messenger (saw) and His Message. By doing so they rejected the Blessings of Allah (swt) and thus caused their people to live in the state of destruction. What we are witnessing in our land is exactly that. The Jahil chiefs of Awami-BNP have rejected the ruling by Islam and caused Bangladesh to be a land of destruction. The on-going violence, chaos, strikes, and state terrorism is nothing other than fruits of the failed Awami-BNP politics.

The so-called democratic system breeds this type of corrupt, divisive and destructive partisan politics. We have not forgotten the year 2006 when we saw similar scenes - the Awami mayhem of sticks and oars. This system has concentrated power and wealth in hands of two families, backed by outside powers, and in the hands of few crony politicians and big businesses close to the two families. These few govern the country as they wish, according to their corrupt interests. They are above the law and not accountable to anyone. The entire population is hostage to them. People are made to plead and bribe these corrupt few for the sake of fulfilling the most basic of their needs, whether for getting the job of a clerk in a government office or that of teacher in the country's "greatest seat of learning" Dhaka University, whether for setting up a much needed school in their village or building a small bridge, etc. In order to sustain this system they have created a well-oiled apparatus of thugs, criminals, and deceptive propagators. And this apparatus is let loose to cause as much physical and intellectual mayhem and destruction as is necessary for either of the two families and their close associates to hold onto power or reach power upon the dead bodies of the common men and women. Then they shroud their mayhem and destruction with cheap slogans of ‘spirit of liberation', ‘patriotism' or ‘saving the nation'!

What is the Way Out?

The way out is to reject Hasina-Khaleda, reject Awami-BNP and establish a new state system in the country under a new leadership to set things in the correct order. Until this is done there is no future for the country except more of the Awami-BNP corruption, misrule, division and destruction. Abandon the futile call for improving the political culture and dialogue between the two leaders as is being called for by some pseudo-intellectuals from time immemorial in the talk-shows and columns; neither the two leaders nor their future generations have anything good to offer in the first place.

Islam alone offers this new system and leadership in the form of the Khilafah "Caliphate" state. Islam removes the venom from the system by leaving no room for concentration of power in the hands of a family or two; or a few elite to run the country with the aid of their cronies and vested interests. The head of state in the Khilafah "Caliphate" (the Khaleefah) will be elected by the people freely without fear, intimidation or manipulation. Islam has detailed the process of holding such an election, such that there is no room for party political conflicts about the process of a fair election. The Khaleefah rules by the Qur'an and the Sunnah, he does not legislate and he is not above the law. He is accounted by the people, the media, the political parties, the elected members of the Ummah's Assembly (Majlis al-Ummah) and the Court of Unjust Acts (Mahkamat al-Madhalim).

The Khilafah "Caliphate" has the responsibility to look after the affairs of the people in a just manner. It will liberate the oppressed women in the country as well as the man who also are oppressed by the current system. The Khaleefah is obliged to fulfil the basic needs of all men and women in society i.e. food, clothing, shelter, health, education and security; and facilitate for them the satisfaction of their luxurious needs. RasulAllah (saw) commanded, 'الإمام راع ومسئول عن رعيته' "The Imam is a guardian and he is responsible for the citizens." This command is regarding Muslims and non-Muslims alike. Citizenship in the Khilafah "Caliphate" is not based upon religion. Neither the state nor any individual is permitted to coerce the non-Muslim citizens to change their religion. And the state is bound to protect their blood, property and honour. RasulAllah (saw) said,‘من آذى ذميا فقد آذاني' "Whoever harms a dhimmi (non-Muslim citizen) has harmed me." In order to fulfil the people's needs and achieve economic prosperity the Khilafah "Caliphate" will end the endemic corruption and gross wealth inequality prevalent today, ensure effective distribution of wealth, regain the ownership of public property such as oil, gas and coal etc from private and foreign hands according to the hadith of RasulAllah (saw),'الناس شركاء في ثلاث الماء والكلأ والنار' "People are partners in three - water, fire, and green pastures", and rapidly industrialize the economy, focusing on heavy industry. This is the Khilafah "Caliphate" state. Hizb ut Tahrir has written the details of the Khilafah "Caliphate" state system in its books such as the book Institutions of the Khilafah "Caliphate" which details the structure of the Khilafah "Caliphate", it's accountability and process of election, the book Economic System in Islam, Funds in the Khilafah "Caliphate" etc. We have also prepared the Draft Constitution of the Khilafah "Caliphate".

Oh People!

The Khilafah "Caliphate" is the only beacon of hope for you, who are crying out for relief from the pain and sufferings caused by the failed politics of Awami-BNP. Hizb ut Tahrir under the able leadership of it's Amir, Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah is fully equipped with the know-how, political vision, maturity and courage for managing this state system which is free from corruption, violence, destructive partisan politics and the influence of imperialists. The Khilafah "Caliphate" state alone can bring unity to the country and set it on the road to progress as opposed to the corrupt Awami-BNP politics that has led us to where we are today.

"And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa, certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth..." [Surah Al-Araf: 96]

Hizb ut Tahrir calls upon you to raise your voice in unison and say enough of Hasina-Khaleda, enough of Awami-BNP, enough of this filth called democracy...We call upon the sincere, aware and thinking people from amongst the ulema, teachers, civil servants, political leaders and opinion makers at the grassroots and those in positions of influence to come together and form "Khilafah "Caliphate" Committees" in your local wards and mahallas. Mobilize the people against the destructive politics and for the one point demand of re-establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate".

We call upon the general people - the parents, the guardians, the traders, the musallis, the students in the madrasas, colleges and universities, the political activists...to go to the ulema, the teachers, the leaders and the influentials in their localities and demand from them that they form "Khilafah "Caliphate" Committees" and make the call for Khilafah "Caliphate" their only call. You need to particularly go the ulema and the Islamic groups and demand from them that they break away from the camps of Awami-BNP and fulfil their Islamic duty, as the inheritors of the Prophets (as), to call for the Khilafah "Caliphate" which will protect the honour of RasulAllah (saw), who struggled throughout the entire life of His Prophethood for the sake of establishing, securing and expanding the Khilafah "Caliphate".

Oh sincere officers in the military!

Bangladesh is now at a critical juncture where you can play the most pivotal role. The people are frustrated and fed up with the failed Awami-BNP politics. Free them from their misery. They are eagerly hoping for your intervention to bring an end to this nightmare scenario. How many more people have to die and how much more of our land has to face destruction before you respond to the Call of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw)? Do not be the guardians of Awami-BNP misrule anymore, remove this regime of fitnah and fasad, not for reinventing democracy or ruling by yourselves, rather for transferring the state authority to the sincere, aware, and thinking politicians of Hizb ut Tahrir. We will establish the Khilafah "Caliphate", punish Hasina and her accomplices in the Pilkhana massacre and free the military of US-Indian domination forever.
