Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Sudan held an Islamic political book fair in Khartoum's Arab market from Sunday, 26 Jumada I 1434 AH - 07 April April 2013 until Thursday, 1 Jumada II 1434 H - 11 April 2013. The exhibition will include three tents; one displayed the Hizb's various publications that included the culture of the party, and different issues of Al-Waei Magazine. The second tent was devoted to discussion with the visitors interested in the ideas and objectives of the Hizb. The third tent was exclusive for the women's section.
The exhibition attracted a great reaction from the visitors who praised the ideas of the Hizb and its activities.
The exhibition was accompanied by a daily evening forum which introduced a variety of issues, such as the social system in Islam, and the world's need for the Islamic nation. Alhamdulillah, Lord of the Worlds.

RCTI News (13/4). It has been revealed since last week that there are 95 people killed due to poor nutrition in District Kwor, Tambraw in West Papua Province in Indonesia. The number will increase since the remaining 500 people living there are now experiencing difficult days with hunger conditions. This is not the first time it has been revealed that people in Papua were killed because of hunger. It is possible to anticipate the tragedy to prevent its occurrence.
Last month, for example, people in District Nduga, Papua reported that they are threatened with starvation due to crop failure. In another district, Yahukimo, during December 2005, 39 people died. And in District Paniai, 16 people died in 2007. All were due to starvation. [RCTI News, Jakarta, 13/4/2013]

Repeated cases of severe malnutrition are prevalent in Papua, Indonesia which clearly demonstrates that the government chooses wrongful management for Indonesia's rich islands and it also reveals the poor governance. The rich natural resources of Indonesia should eliminate the starvation. Unfortunately, Indonesia Health Minister Nafsiah Mboi said that the problem should lie on local government's responsibility. Whereas, the central government also takes advantage of the wealth of Papua.
Freeport, a gold mining exploited by US company, reported in 2011 the Indonesia government received a share from taxes, royalties and dividends totaling US$52 billion or approximately 468 trillion in Rupiah. Moreover, the local government received more than 415 billion.
We should realize that Papua and Indonesia need the implementation of Shariah and the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" State. The rich natural resources of Indonesia will be managed by the Khaleefah through Baytul Maal to eliminate poverty. Therefore there would not be any repeated cases of starvation suffered by people in Papua including Indonesia. The cases of poor nutrition and the lack of health facilities are the responsibility of government both local and central government. There is no throwing responsibility between local and central government. Of course, the Khaleefah is the one responsible for all as the Prophet stated.
Khilafah "Caliphate" State will design effective policies to overcome the malnutrition cases in Papua. It is not only distribution of food but also to fulfill the needs of doctors and medical facilities. In fact Papua needs around 16 thousand health workers to enable people to access medical care easily. But today, with the absence of Khilafah "Caliphate" State, it needs a 4 day walk for someone to access doctors in remote areas in Papua.

On Saturday 03 Jumada II 1434 H corresponding to 13 April 2013, Hizb ut Tahrir / Palestine organized a rally in the downtown of Jenin, titled: "Victory of Al-Aqsa is with its Liberation and the Demise of the Kafireen's Plot", to express their condemnation of the failure of the rulers and the Palestinian Authority from putting any effort in liberating Al-Aqsa Mosque and the plight of Palestine in the light of the attacks on Al-Aqsa including the legalized operations of drilling and excavations underneath and around the Mosque. After these statements were given by Dr. Maher Al-Jabari, member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Palestine, the Palestinian Authority security forces tried to arrest him, who also pursued several members of the Hizb after the rally.

Indeed, it is the Al-Sham, the revolution which arose from our mosques, raised the Rayah of Islam, and chanted: "It is for Allah, It is for Allah", "We don't have anyone but You, Oh Allah!" "For the sake of Allah". Its men fought fearlessly. They sacrificed themselves and their money to survive in the Heavens, not wavered by those who let them down. In the face of the Haqq, they stand formidable; visible to their enemy. This revolution persisted on its envisioned path, aware of its demand, confident of Allah's victory, placed their Tawwakul in Him. Since the onset of this revolution, Allah the Almighty has prepared men to carry out this task all the while fortifying it.
They thought that Syria will slip like the others in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya and Yemen, and they forgot that Syria is considered the best from Allah's land, with the most distinguished from His creations and slaves. They thought that they are able to make it swift, but have forgotten that these men swore in blood to make it Allah's revolution, a revolution towards the Khilafah "Caliphate" ar-Rashidah.
"فإذا كانت (الخلافة) في الشام فثم عُقر دارها"
"If the Khilafah "Caliphate" is in the Sham, then it is its abode."
We proclaim this since it is the promise of Allah the Almighty and glad tidings of His Messenger (may Allah bless him and his family). As for the secularists, who argue based on what the Shaytan promised, along with America and the colonial powers, but what the Shaytan has prepared for them is only a delusion.
One day, history will record that the Ummah's the new dawn emerged from al-Sham from anew, Inshallah. Soon this day will arrive.

Hizb ut Tahrir / East Africa sternly condemns the evil acts of some Christians in Tunduma (south-western Tanzania bordering Zambia) who demolished parts of Masjid Jamaa and Masjid Faswahia and attempted to burn them down, simply out of enmity and desecration to the houses of worship.
