The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Sudan held its second Periodic Issues of the Ummah Forum  on Monday, 15 Rabii II 1434 AH, February 25, 2013 at noon at the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan in Khartoum, entitled, "The Media and its Impact on the Ummah's Revival."  Brother Idriss Ad-Domah, editor of the Gazette, and Brother Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil), official spokesman.

The first speaker, Brother Idriss Ad-Domah, spoke about the reality of the media and its impact on the formation of public opinion, that is a systematic media, and nations world-wide are trying to control the media outlets to steer public opinion according to its needs.

Brother Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil), the second speaker, spoke that the media is based on a capitalist basis throughout the world. And the media in the Muslim countries broadcasts what is produced by the West while fully aware or simply oblivious. He stated that the media can form a public opinion in any situation, in which it can distort facts to make the right void and wrong valid, it is based on lies and deception. He stated that the media required in the Ummah is the media which is based on the Ummah's Aqeedah, the Islamic faith, and this will be in the up-coming state, Inshallah; a Khilafah "Caliphate" State based upon the method of the Prophethood.

On the 17th of February, the head of Hizb ut Tahrir Pakistan's Central Contact Committee Saad Jagranvi was arrested, along with four others, for the second time in a matter of weeks. He was addressing a seminar organised by Hizb ut-Tahrir in Rawalpindi on the matter of the Kiyani military doctrine, exposing it as a doctrine of submission, humiliation and capitulation before a hostile force - America.

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan organized a political seminar in Badara Baldgenat south of Khartoum on Friday, 12 Rabii II 1434 AH, 22 February 2013, at 7:30 in the evening. The political seminar was titled: "The Social System in Islam is the Safety Valve for Society".

Brother Nasser Reza (Abu Rida), Head of the Central Contacts Committee for Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah of Sudan, addressed the reality of the depraved society which is displayed by its rampant immorality among the people and lewd behaviors tempting them to fall into vice and commit adultery.

Brother Abdul Rahman Saad, a member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Sudan, spoke about the solutions according to Islam concerning these widespread problems and how Islam protected society according to the Ahkam al-Sharii which leads to the formation of a distinct society throughout the centuries having applied Islam.

The seminar was attended by a large number of people, including politicians, journalists, imams and school teachers. Alhamdulilah, Lord of the Worlds.
