Washington (CNN) The US announced Monday it is "suspending its participation in bilateral channels with Russia" that had come about as part of the short-lived cessation of hostilities in Syria. (October 4th 2016)
Chief of Staff General Hulusi Akar spoke in the parliament's opening reception. Akar replied to a question asked to him about the probability of a second coup attempt, "We always take such things seriously but I personally do not believe there will be. I do not see a potential for a second coup attempt".
