The Lebanese government didn't issue any visa for those Afghan journalists, political analysts and influential, who were willing to participate in a conference on 89th anniversary of demise of Khilafah "Caliphate" conducted by Hizb ut Tahrir, in Beirut Lebanon on 18th July 2010, where Hizb ut Tahrir was to announce HT Perspective on the world's most critical international and regional problems.

The government arrested four more members and activists of Hizb ut-Tahrir yesterday night from Kalabagan, Dhaka. Before that they took senior member of the party, Professor Dr Syed Golam Mawla in remand for three days. They are also spreading false information about the party's links with Jamat-e-Islam, despite the fact that Hizb ut-Tahrir has no remote connection with Jamat-e-Islam, war criminals or militants. These actions of the government show clearly…

Once again Hizb ut-Tahrir's name is being printed in various newspapers along with other militant organizations in order to portray Hizb ut-Tahrir as a militant outfit.  Furthermore failed efforts are being made to link Hizb ut-Tahrir with terrorism.  In these American endeavours Punjab government is seen working hand in glove with the Federal government.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is organizing an international media conference in Beirut, Lebanon on 18th July 2010. The conference is being organized to mark the 89th annual painful remembrance day of the destruction of the Khilafah "Caliphate" on the 28th Rajab 1342H/ 3rd March 1924.  The title of the conference is "Hizb ut-Tahrir's opinion on world's major regional and international issues".
