Today a delegation of Hizb ut-Tahrir comprising deputy spokesman Imran Yousafzai and member Tahir Sadozai handed over a protesting letter to the Uzbek embassy in Islamabad. The letter was against the torture and persecution being unleashed by the Uzbek tyrant regime against the non-violent struggle of Hizb ut-Tahrir. The latest victim of this tyranny is Ismat Hudoyberdiyev who was tortured and killed in jail by the brutal regime of Uzbekistan.

Chief Coordinator and Official Spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Bangladesh Mohiuddin Ahmed in a press release issued today strongly protested the arrest of party activist Mohammad Kawser from Uttara region of the capital city. He was arrested while putting up posters publicizing a party seminar on ‘Islam's Model for Industrialization'.
