Nafsiya Reflections: The Month of Change
The month of Rajab has passed as now the month of Sha'ban has come to an end, and the great month of Ramadan is knocking at our doors. Subhan Allah. We may have prepared our minds during these past two months, preparing our souls, our 'Nafs', to enter into this holy month, the month of mercy.
In the last ten years, the international conspiracy against Islam has taken a louder form, and Islamophobes around the world, have stopped hiding what is in their hearts, declaring open hostility to Islam and its sanctities. During this time, enemies of Islam around the world have launched a campaign to eradicate and distort the holy religion of Islam by publicly burning the Quran and distorting texts from the Quran and Sunnah.
On February 24, 2022, the war between Russia and Ukraine began. As usual, disbelievers on both sides use Muslims in this bloodshed. And Muslims are always a victim, even if there is a confrontation between disbelievers.
Muslims, having no state of their own, wish to lean on some power, in the person of the state.

In a tragic accident that adds to the many tragedies the Ummah is witnessing, a boat carrying migrants who set off from Turkey to Italy, hoping for a safe and dignified life, sank. Death preceded them, and more than 65 people drowned, including about 12 children and infants out of 200 people.
