India's Unprecedented Water Aggression to Put Political Pressure on Bangladesh;
There is No Alternative to recognizing India as an Enemy State

Today, Friday (23/08/2024), after Jumma at the National Masjid Baitul Mukarram, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Bangladesh organized a demonstration and procession to protest India's water aggression on Bangladesh. Members of Hizb ut Tahrir gave speeches in the protest. The procession marched towards Bijayanagar Mor, then Dainik Bangla Mor and again came back to Baitul Mukarram North Gate and ended by making Du`a. The speakers in the protest highlighted the following points:

India launched an unprecedented water aggression over Bangladesh to create political pressure on Bangladesh. They opened the gates of the Dumbur Dam without any warning, which caused the homes of millions of people in ten districts of Bangladesh to quickly drown under flood. People let alone to protecting their homes and property, are rather struggling to save their lives. With power-cut and mobile communication being cut off, families are in a state of extreme anxiety and do not know the latest status of their children, elderly parents who were affected by the flash floods, and they even do not know if their family members survived or not. India's continued policy of aggression is nothing but enmity with the people of this Muslim dominated country of ours. Allah (swt) says,

[لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا]

"You will certainly find the Jews and the polytheists the most hostile of people to the Muslims" [Surah Al-Ma'ida: 82].

At this moment of crisis in the country, Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Bangladesh has called upon the country's administration, navy, army, air force and all levels of people to use all their strength and capacity to protect the lives and property of the flood-affected people, and urging the people to demand the followings:

1. Considering the aspirations of the people of the country, the Indian embassy should be closed immediately by declaring India as an enemy state. All anti-Islamic and anti-state agreements and MoUs signed with India should be canceled immediately.

2. The country's military and border guard forces, BGB, should keep ready to face any aggression from India and the country's military and BGB should be made as a strong force to face an enemy state.

3. Hasina and her thugs, who implemented India's conspiracy to weaken the country's military through the Pilkhana massacre, should be brought under trial and given exemplary punishment.

4. India has continued its aggression on the country for the past five decades due to the India pleasing policy of the country's secular agent regimes. They verbally oppose India, but in reality have not taken any effective steps to counter Indian aggression. So these agents must be rejected.

5. Above all, a far-sighting and long-term plan must be adopted to bring India back under Muslim rule to permanently stop all its aggression; because only during the rule of Muslims, the people of this region lived a happy and prosperous life in unity regardless of religion, race, and caste.

Finally the speakers ended by asking the people to come forward to establish a leading nation – the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the way of Prophethood.
