Hizb ut-Tahrir issued a leaflet today calling for the removal of Sheikh Hasina and her government and the re-establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate". The title of the leaflet is: Remove Sheikh Hasina and her government, the agent of US-India, collaborator in the Pilkhana killings; and Re-establish the Khilafah "Caliphate". About 100,000 leaflets were distributed by party members and activists all over the country including Dhaka. In the leaflet the party said the government of Sheikh Hasina collaborated with the Indian polytheist state in the killing of army officers at the BDR headquarters in February 2009 to weaken the BDR and the Army of Bangladesh. The government committed this treacherous act to please the imperialists immediately after coming to power. Despite their empty promises, one year on, they have failed to take any step towards completing the investigation and trial of the killers.

The party said the government is doing everything to fulfil the promises they made to their masters who brought them to power in the first place. On one side it is serving the crusader America. On the other side it is making agreements with the polytheist enemy India which amount to nothing less than surrender. The kufr democratic system cannot offer anyone better as the leader of the Ummah, neither Awami league nor the BNP alliance who wait for instructions from their masters to declare their political programmes. In fact under this kufr democratic system Bangladesh earned the reputation of one of the worst 20 failing states in the world in 2009. Only the Khilafah "Caliphate" can produce leaders who are aware and brave enough to challenge the imperialist disbelievers and polytheists.

In the leaflet the party provided guidance for the people of power saying:

O the descendants of Khalid ibn Walid, Muhammad ibn Qasim, and Bakhtiyar Khalji!

Hizb ut-Tahrir issued a leaflet a year ago, on the 28th of February 2009 exposing this government which collaborated with India in the massacre of our brilliant officers. The criminal government responded by arresting dozens of party members and activists. Subsequently they banned the party at the behest of their imperialist masters. Now we issue this leaflet to offer you guidance at this crucial time when the imperialists are establishing an upper hand over the Muslims of the country due to the treachery of Shiekh Hasina, who is following the footsteps of the rulers before her who were in authority since the establishment of the country:

1. The US, Britain and India are open enemies to the Muslims. Do not be deceived by their sweet words and pledges.  

{مَّا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَلاَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَاللّهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ وَاللّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ }البقرة105.

Neither those who disbelieve among the people of the Book (Jews and Christians) nor Al-Mushrikun (polytheists) like that there should be send down unto you any good from your Lord. But Allah chooses for His Mercy whom He wills. And Allah is the Owner of great bounty. [TMQ Al-Baqarah: 105]

1. The subservient stance taken by the government is a crime against Islam, and the Muslims. These rulers are the munafiqun, as Allah (SWT) has declared them to be so.

{بَشِّرِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيماً * الَّذِينَ يَتَّخِذُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاء مِن دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَيَبْتَغُونَ عِندَهُمُ الْعِزَّةَ فَإِنَّ العِزَّةَ لِلّهِ جَمِيعاً }النساء139،138.

"Give to the hypocrites the tidings that there is for them a painful torment. Those who take disbelievers for Auliyah' (protectors or helpers or friends) instead of believers, do they seek honour, power and glory with them? Verily, then to Allah belongs all honour, power and glory". [TMQ an-Nisaa': 138-139]

1. Give Hizb ut-Tahrir the nusrah to remove the current government and establish the Khilafah "Caliphate". Emulate the life of men like Sa'ad ibn Ma'adh (ra), the leader and the general of the Ansar (ra) who gave nusrah to the Prophet (SAW), removed the kufr system in Madinah, and established the Islamic state. And take inspiration from his (ra) death. When Sa'ad (ra) died, RasulAllah (saw) said he (ra) was, "the first person for whom Allah smiled and the heavens trembled."
