On the 29th of September 2022, the Arab News agency reported on the drone attacks launched by Iran on what have been called Kurdish rebel agents in the region. The explosions occurred in the town of Irbil, Iraqi Kurdistan and struck a school full of students. Journalists at the scene circulated photos of blood-stained school children in Iraq’s northern Kurdistan region.
