Press Release
Why Does the Regime of Kyrgyzstan Not Release the Detained Women?!
(Translated)

On the first of July 2013 in the city of Osh, Kyrgyzstan, three women were arrested due to their affiliation with Hizb ut Tahrir! There are several other women who remain in detention until this Thursday the first of August 2013 ... As for the three mentioned above, their apartments were searched and it was reported that compact discs (CDs) and books belonging to Hizb ut Tahrir were found, having ideas that call for the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate", according to the Ministry of Interior of the city of Osh.

Hizb ut Tahrir is a political party and its intellectual basis is Islam. It seeks to resume the Islamic way of life through establishing a rightly guided Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" state on the method of Prophethood. The Hizb since its founding sixty years ago announced its aim and announced its way of achieving and realizing this as defined by Islamic law. Hizb ut Tahrir made its ideas and its culture accessible to everyone as outlined in their books and published them to be easily accessible to anyone who desires to view them. Joining the ranks of the Hizb is open to all Muslims, there is no difference between men and women and between the rich and the poor, rather the Hizb's criterion is the God-consciousness (Taqwa) of a person.

Thousands of God-fearing sisters in the various countries of the world work with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish a rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate", including Kyrgyzstan, women in Islam are sisters to the men, and Islam has honored the woman and given her a high and prestigious status, prompting much of the world's women to enter into Islam and accepting its teachings and follow its provisions, just as the women of Kyrgyzstan, who since the dawn of Islam believed in it and followed its guidance. But in the past ninety years the Muslims in Kyrgyzstan were deprived of the possibility of living in accordance with the laws of Allah and until now are living according to man-made legislation, in a country that cast aside the system of Allah and applied a man-made system, which sank the society to the lowest of levels and the wicked seized reign of the country and corruption spread.

Kyrgyzstan is a country that is rich with natural resources, able to secure all the needs of the people. In defiance and with the propaganda of the idea of equality between men and women, nearly two hundred thousand women are compelled to search for jobs in distant countries from Kyrgyzstan, to work in hard labor such as cleaning for meager wages. On the contrary, in Islam a woman is a mother, and housewife, and an honor that must be protected. Therefore a woman in the Khilafah "Caliphate" State is not obliged to leave to work to be able to spend on herself, because she is neither obliged with spending on herself nor on her children, rather it is the duty of men, and the work inside the home remains her basic duty, though Islam does not prevent her from going out to work if she wants.

The capitalist system leads to the spreading of vice, such as the kidnapping of girls. In Kyrgyzstan, girls are kidnapped and forced to marry someone they do not desire to marry. In the Khilafah "Caliphate" State the matter differs, so a crime as such is penalized in a way that deters anyone tempted to kidnap or manipulate a girl in order to force her to marry him. Women in the Khilafah "Caliphate" State will be protected from the whims of criminals.

The only solution to rid of such a system is to work to reestablish the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" based on the provisions of Islam and its laws, this is the solution for which many of the women of Kyrgyzstan work alongside with men; therefore the unjust and Kufr system of government in Kyrgyzstan pursues, prosecutes and arrests these women exactly as it prosecutes and arrests men. Accordingly, we remind the ruling regime in Kyrgyzstan, we even warn them with the words of Allah, the Lord of the Worlds:

"Indeed, those who disbelieve and avert [people] from the way of Allah have certainly gone far astray. Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path. Except the path of Hell; they will abide therein forever. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy." [TMQ 4:167-169]
