The Federal Government Sacrifices Germany's Credibility

After the invitation filed against “Israel” on charges of genocide was read before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, on Thursday, 11/01/2024, the German government announced through its media office that “these accusations are baseless and have no basis.” In addition, the government intends to intervene as a third party in the trial and stand up for the Jewish entity. With this approach, the federal government completely discredits Germany and reveals the full meaning of the so-called German national interest. After obliging its people to “sacrifice their lives to protect the security of ‘Israel’,” it now intends to sacrifice the institutions of the world order on the monuments of Zionism.

Since the founding of the Jewish entity, the leading Zionists have declared that the systematic killing and expulsion of the country's people are among the established principles of their state. The first prime minister of the Zionist entity, David Ben-Gurion, spoke frankly about “occupation, destruction and displacement,” and demanded that “the displaced should never be allowed to return.” He continued, saying: “The old will die and the young will forget.” In the decades that followed, all governments of the entity applied this principle. Rafael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the Zionist Army, stated in 1983: “We declare openly that the Arabs have no right to settle on even one centimeter of Eretz ‘Israel’...Force is all they do or ever will understand. We shall use the ultimate force until the Palestinians come crawling to us on all fours.”

Netanyahu government’s declaration of war on October 7, 2023 falls completely within this policy of extermination and represents to this day the culmination of Israel’s bloody history. Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed in recent months, most of them women and children, and eighty percent of the Gaza Strip has been completely destroyed. Nearly two million people have been displaced due to widespread attacks, and more than one million people are threatened by starvation due to the systematic blockade. Human rights organizations Oxfam and Human Rights Watch have proven that the Zionists “use hunger as a weapon of war.” In addition, according to experts from the research agency Forensic Architecture, the Israeli army is waging a systematic campaign against Gaza’s medical infrastructure and, according to the NGO Committee for the Protection of Journalists (CPJ), is “targeted killing journalists and their families.”

All these actions aim to cause the greatest possible human losses and exterminate Muslims in Gaza. All of this is completely consistent with the statements of the Netanyahu government itself. While the prime minister of the Zionist entity revealed his genocidal intentions by referring to the extermination of the Amalek tribe in the Old Testament, the entity's president, Isaac Herzog, declared that there were no innocents in the Gaza campaign: “It’s an entire nation out there that is responsible. This rhetoric about civilians not aware, not involved, it’s absolutely not true. [...] and we will fight until we break their back bone.” Even the Zionist entity's ambassador to Berlin, Ron Prosor, publicly stated that "it is wrong to distinguish between civilians and Hamas.”

These statements from the mouth of the Zionists expose the German government and reveal that its aforementioned statement has reached the height of vileness and contempt! Instead of considering the existence of a preliminary suspicion of genocide - and this is the norm in modern legal systems - the federal government declares in advance the innocence of the accused, saying: “However the German government decisively and expressly rejects the accusation of genocide brought against Israel before the International Court of Justice... The accusation has no basis in fact.” By referring to its Nazi history, the German government is trying to contain the so-called Genocide Convention and exploit it for its own ends, describing it as “a central tool [...] to absolutely prevent the recurrence of what happened in the Nazi era.”

This proves the political motive behind the partisanship of the Zionist entity, and reveals the desire to delegitimize even the international system with its alleged legal rules. Thus, Germany joins the axis of those countries whose behavior reveals the true nature of so-called international law and international institutions, including the International Court of Justice, which are tools in the hands of colonial powers, that they use according to their interests!

Hizb ut Tahrir once again reminds the German government that it must bear responsibility for its actions, regardless of the ruling of the International Court of Justice. If it thinks that the blood of Muslims is nothing but a bargaining chip in politically motivated judicial procedures, then she should do the following:

The upcoming Khilafah (Caliphate) will completely demolish the colonial system in the Middle East and will hold all those responsible for killing and displacement accountable! Adhering to a destructive national interest that links personal destiny to the Zionist entity is a historical mistake, a mistake that the Ummah will never forget, and perhaps even the German people will not forgive the government for this mistake.
