HIZBUT TAHRIR INDONESIA STATEMENT
"Condemning The plan of Burning Al Quran"

Regarding to the plan of burning al Quran of small Christian secte in Florida, US on 11^th of Coming September to commemorate WTC/911 tragedy, Hizbut Tahrir of Indonesia state:

• 1. Condemning strongly the plan and considering it a brutish, amoral act and very Insult the respectability and the holiness of al Quran. It is not only an insult to the holiness of al Quran but also to Islam and moslem ummah in the world-wide. For thus, this deed shouldn't be letted. There must be fervent feat from US Government and Christendom in the world-wide including In Indonesia to stop that crazy plan.

• 2. The plan of burning al Quran, if it is really happened will invite strong reaction from Moslem Ummah in the world-wide in any farious forms, and there will no be anyone able to stop any kinds of arising reactions. And if it is really happened, will carry tension evenmore strong conflict amongs the followers of religions. For thus, this plan should be stopped seriously.

• 3. The plan of burning al Quran, moreover if it is really happened, indicates the weakness of Moslem ummah. Although, the moslem ummah is major in quantity, but without union, the amount of moslem, 1,5 billions is actually weak to protect their honor, including their holly book. For that, this happenning should trigger the spirit and seriousness of Islamic ummah to struggle all out to re-establish Khilafah "Caliphate". Becouse, only Khilafah "Caliphate" will reunite Islamic Ummah till they have power. With their power they will be able to protect the honor and prestige of Islam, including protecting the honor of al Quran from brutish attack like what will be done by small cluster of people in Florida US, that Who will burn al Quran. And before the Khilafah "Caliphate" was established, the plea should come from the rulers in the moslem world. They should work for Islamic interest and Moslem ummah for they are ...... as Rasulullah Peace be upon him said,"Imam is as ...." (Narated by Bukhari and Muslim). Without Khilafah "Caliphate", Islamic Ummah will never be able to protect their prestige from unbelivers' insult.

• 4. May Allah help and bless our effort to put that crazy plan in failure. Amen.
