Strategic Role of Military to Establish Khilafah

Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia held monthly Islamic halaqah and civilizations under the title "Death Knell of puppet regimes in Islamic World" Sunday, 20^th March 2011 at Wisma Antara Hall Jakarta.

In every revolution, the military's role is very strategic. The Quick overthrow of Mubarak in Egypt and Ben Ali in Tunisia were after the army forces supported the people. While the crisis in Libya is running prolong because of the military still supporting the dictator Qaddafi. So, Islamic activists must come to generals of army to call them to support Islamic ideology.

To win Ahlul Quwah's support (person or groups with power) in a revolution is the standard method (tariqah) which has been exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad. He had visited every head of tribes in Mecca and its surroundings including the Tha'if

Rasulullah SAW asked them to convert to Islam and fully support his struggle, but all refused. But he and his companions didn't despair. While continuing to aware the people, the prophet and his companions continued looking for support of Ahlul Quwah (Person or Groups with power). This activity is called thalabun Nushrah.

Finally, warlords Sa'ad ben Muaz from Aus tribes in Yatsrib (now Medina) accepted Islam and fully supported the establishment of Islamic state in Yatsrib, without bloodshed.

Sa'ad's death made ‘Arasy shaking. It were opened for him all doors of sky and witnessed by 70.000 angels as narrated by Muslim, Bukhari and Nasa'I from Ibnu ‘Umar.

Wahidudin, a member of HTI stated strongly to generals," Be Sa'ad ben Mu'adz of 21^st Century!"  Indonesia Army is Islamic Army. They should support Islam like what General Sudirman did in the past. He called for Jihad to free Indonesia from Imperialists. He was very committed to Islam.

The generals have no any reason to refuse Syariah and Khilafah "Caliphate". They should give their help and support to Hizbut Tahrir to establish Khilafah "Caliphate" Islamiyah, then they get honor from Allah SWT.
