HIZB UT TAHRIR INDONESIA's STATEMENT
THE OPPRESSION OF RUSSIA REGIME AGAINTS HIZB UT TAHRIR MEMBERS IN RUSSIA

The domestic security agency of Russia (FSB) arrested a Muslim woman, Sidikova Oomidjan Ganevna (b. 1976) on the morning of 19 May 2011 in Moscow. They did not allow her to inform anyone of her whereabouts, and her three children - a daughter, Meerkhan (12), and two sons, Nusratullah (10) and Salahuddin (8) - were placed in an orphanage.

Earlier, on the 7 December 2010, the husband of Sidikova, Farookh Fadl Dinovic (b. 1972), was arrested upon allegations of membership with a political party, Hizb ut-Tahrir . His wife was then arrested in order to put pressure on him to confess to the allegations, which were not true. The court sentenced Sidikova to two months in prison.

We see today that Russian leaders are trying to portray Russia as a civilised nation that respects human rights, yet in reality this is how they act to achieve their objectives: by separating a mother and her children in order to force a man to confess to crimes he did not commit.

On 23 May, in the city of Ufa and its surroundings, security agencies carried out raids on homes without warrants and arrested some Muslim women from their homes.

The house of Manapova Yula Kazikhanov (b. 1984) was raided by officers of the National Security agency on 23 May 2011. Her house is apartment no. 617, 11 Moshanikova St. in the city of Ufa . They led her to 55a Kalinina St. and there threatened her with a screwdriver and awl and verbally abused her. They threatened her with the arrest of her sons as a form of pressure. They repeated all this throughout the day, whilst her baby and her infant of 5 years were left alone in the house.

The house of Elmira Minnibiva Yonnerova (b. 1985) was searched while she was eight months pregnant. She lives in Ufa on Kriliva St . The search was carried out in a way contravening the law: the address written in the legal papers was wrong and the two female witnesses used during the investigation were from the agency itself. The agents of the agency recorded everything on video in order to record the face of the sister properly. The name of employee recording was Vitslav and he focused the camera upon her. During all this, her husband, Tahir Vanisovic, and her one-year old son, Aleem, were in the apartment witnessing the actions of the agents, part of which was the trampling with their dirty feet on books that contained Quran'ic verses.

This brutal treatment made Minibayeva very depressed. Her heart rate increased and she felt pain in her lower abdomen. It caused her to be taken to the hospital immediately. The doctor who examined her declared that she was due to stress.  She could lose her baby. Doctors gave him a sedative and they took her to the maternity hospital at Shaviva street number 6. But it was rejected on the grounds full.

This brutal treatment was also experienced by Shakirova Layla Ramilvina (29) with her children, Zainab (6), Shalahudin (4), Ali (2) and Janat (1) on 23^rd of Mei 2011. This brutal treatment was not experienced only by her but also by her husband, Shakirov Albert Zakoyovitz who had been in jail since September 2010. FSB ruffled their house. It was unclear what they wanted. They snapped the children. So rudely that put them in fear. Finding nothing they forced Shkirova to sign letter of confession which said that she was a fundamentalist.

Regarding to this brutal treatment, Hizbut Tahrir-Indonesia make rally in front of Russia embassy in Jakarta and declare:

1. Demand Russian regime to stop their brutality immediately. The regime has violated principles and values that had been adhered by Russia so long. And to remind them that cruel act will never be able to stop HT's activities there. Sooner or later, the acts of injustice will worsen Russia Regime.

2. Remind all Moslems that only Khilafah "Caliphate" can protect their blood, honor and wealth wherever they are. During the age of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) mobilized Moslem Ummah to fight against Qoinuqa' tribe when there was a Jew who harassed a Moslem woman and killed a Moslem who defended her. Likewise, Al Mu'tashim the Khalifah sent his troops immediately when he heard recourse of a Moslem woman. In fact, Moslem Ummah never feels at peaceful as long as they are under secular regime. Their blood, wealth and honor are always threatened. Human Rights and Democracy are only false and tootles slogans when there are cases connected with the Moslem Ummah. Therefore, let's hurry to struggle for establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate". Because Khilafah "Caliphate" is the only institution can protect Moslem Ummah and let's pray for safety of our brothers and sisters in Russia.
