Today, Dr. Ismael Sheikh's family and lawyer Mr. Umar Hayat Sindhoo, Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan, held a press conference at Karachi Press Club, Karachi, Sindh. Advocate Umar briefed the media regarding Dr. Ismael Sheikh's abduction and the judicial process that has so far taken place.

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan held country-wide demonstrations against the abduction of its member, Dr. Ismael Sheikh. Protestors were carrying banner and placards declaring that "The abduction of Dr. Ismael Sheikh, Cannot Prevent the Khilafah "Caliphate"'s Return", "Democracy is the Guardian of the American Raj, Khilafah "Caliphate" is the Shield of the Muslims". Protests were held to demand his immediate release.

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan held demonstrations across the country against American presence and to end it. Hundreds of people attended these protests. The protesters carried banners and placards saying, "Restoration of peace in the country is not possible through negotiation or operation rather the closing of American embassy and Raymond Davis Network is required"

Yesterday night, Monday night, 7 April 2014, the Raheel-Nawaz regime pressed its majority in the National Assembly to pass a draconian law in the name of "Protection of Pakistan Bill". This law gives sweeping powers, which includes shooting suspects on sight, detention of up to 90 days and keeping secret their place of detention. Is this the way to protect Pakistan?
