Hizb ut-Tahrir organized protests in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar against the government action of persecuting pro-Khilafah "Caliphate" military officers and civilians. Protestors were holding banners and placards which read " Pro-American traitors in Civilian and Military leadership are pursuing a policy of purging Pro-Khilafah "Caliphate" Civilians and Military Officers" and "Expel America from Pakistan, which is the real reason of chaos and turmoil."

On 14 March the Deputy Attorney General read out a letter from ISI in front of the Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Mr. Iqbal Hameed ur Rehman, and denied its involvement in the abduction of members of Hizb ut-Tahrir. As a matter of fact the ISI accused Hizb ut-Tahrir members of going underground to undertake militant and subversive activities. Hizb ut-Tahrir completely rejects the answer

On the occasion of the abolition of the Khilafah "Caliphate" on 3 March 1924 and in respect and support for the uprising in the Muslim Lands for Islam, women members of Hizb ut-Tahrir held a seminar in Lahore under the title of "Calling for Real Change! Khilafah "Caliphate" is our Future."

The only political party within the Ummah that is struggling for the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" and eradication of the colonialist system, Hizb ut-Tahrir  has been making sacrifices in Pakistan today, as it is nobly done so elsewhere in the past.
