Third Ramadhan, Without Naveed Butt

Hizb ut Tahrir Wilayah Pakistan displayed banners throughout the provincial capital of Pakistan's largest province Punjab, Lahore. Lahore is a previous seat of ruling for the Muslim rulers in the time of the Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" state and is now home to over ten million Muslims. The banners were placed in prominent public areas and called for the immediate release of Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir in Pakistan and the country's most prominent advocate for Khilafah "Caliphate". This is now the third Ramadhan that Naveed greets in abduction. The Muslims of Pakistan are asked to make dua for his release and ask about his well-being from the influential that they know in general and in particular from the senior armed forces intelligence officials.

Naveed Butt was first seized on 11 May 2012, over two years ago. Naveed's tireless exposure of the colonialist conspiracies against the Muslims and clear presentation of how the ruling by the Deen of Islam will provide Khair for the Muslim World and beyond it, was greatly resented by traitors within the political and military leadership. So these tyrants mobilized to silence Naveed, in blind obedience to the policies of their colonialist masters, who fight the call for the Khilafah "Caliphate" wherever it is likely to arise, from Syria to Uzbekistan. Thus, these oppressors added to their many crimes against Islam, by chasing Naveed here and there, until their thugs seized him before the eyes of his small children. And until today, not only do they confine Naveed to their dungeons, they undertake a campaign of persecution against the Shebaab of Hizb ut Tahrir. Indeed, the extent of their resentment is such that they send their thugs to chase after the Shebaab, wherever they stand to address the people by speech or by the distribution of leaflets, even if it were for a little while!

[وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ]
