Commentary of a Publication on Russian News Website "Konkretno"
(Translated)

 Russian news website  "Konkretno.ru" published on 28/11/2014 excerpts from the press release issued by the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Russia on 05/11/2014 entitled: "Every Fifth from the List of the Political Prisoners in Russia is a Member of Hizb ut Tahrir Party", which had been sent to several Russian media.

Despite the fact that what we have said in the press release was clear enough, but "Konkretno" website expressed its astonishment at the Memorial Center for Human Rights for considering Hizb ut Tahrir's prisoners in the list of political prisoners. The press release provided a detailed explanation about the illegality of considering Hizb ut Tahrir a terrorist organization according to the decision of the Russian Supreme Court on 14/02/2003. As well as it showed the basis that made the Memorial Center for Human Rights mentioning the detained members of our party on the list of political prisoners. The press release is posted on the official site of Hizb ut Tahrir, and anyone can access it.

The political nature of our work is a fact that the Russian authorities do not want to admit, which is the only reason for which Hizb ut Tahrir is still in the list of terrorist organizations in Russia. This also what makes the Russian special security services continue to exercise repression and persecution against the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir throughout the 37 years, as is happening now of imprisoning those who read banned books, according to the agenda of the Russian regime, claiming that they are incompatible with the political vision of the state and its beliefs. Hence we are surprised by the reaction of the Russian website "Konkretno" on the fact of regarding members of Hizb ut Tahrir political prisoners by the Memorial Human Rights Center!

"Konkretno" website also said, "If you want to know the Khilafah "Caliphate", in reality, then all what you have to do is to look at what is published of clips and movies from Iraq and Syria, and by the way, "Hizb ut Tahrir" is actively recruiting volunteers for itself".

In fact, this reminds us more of the Russian Special Security Services lies, which depend on those lies on those who do not know anything about the work of our party. Those who know us and know the work of our party, they know our clear position from the declaration of the so-called ISIS for Caliphate. As the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah had explained in detail on 01/07/2014 the legitimate (Shari') and political opinion regarding this matter, pointing out that the declaration of Caliphate by the ISIS is illegal, and it is void, and their method of establishing it does not agree with the Shari'ah rulings relating to the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of the Prophethood. Therefore, the allegations of recruiting volunteers are unfounded. In addition to build an idea of the reality of a real state that ruled for more than a thousand years of history, on a void declared by ISIS then this is a shallow and superficial thought, and is questionable.
