Press Release

What Binds the People of Egypt and Sudan is Greater than the Nile River … It is the Great Islam, the True Lifeblood

(Translated)

On the backdrop of the mounting insults and wrangling between some sons of Sudan and Egypt, in the media here and there, a joint statement was issued by the Foreign Minister of Egypt (Sameh Shukri) and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sudan Ibrahim Ghandour, confirming their total rejection of the unacceptable transgressions, or the abuse, of either two States, or the two brotherly peoples, under any circumstances, whatever the reasons and justifications. Where the statement said: "The two ministers expressed their full appreciation for the culture, history and civilization of each country and their belief that the Nile River is the lifeblood of the two peoples of Sudan and Egypt that have strengthened the bonds of brotherhood and common destiny throughout the ages."

The tension between Egypt and Sudan is a deliberate act to sow the seeds of hatred between the people of the two countries, who are originally part of a single nation, the Islamic Ummah which colonialism has separated, and divided the single country into countries. Egypt and Sudan were one Wilayah within the states of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate). The English worked to separate Sudan from Egypt by the right to self-determination, which also by it thereafter separated one-third of southern Sudan, to become a third statelet. And because the current rulers in Egypt and Sudan are tools for the colonial Kaffir West, they are keen to keep the roots of sedition burning, and raise the issues planted by the Kaffir Englishman; such as the cases of Halaib and Shalatin and Abu Ramad and others. And even when they talk about what binds the two peoples, they do not talk about the real bond that brings them together, and unites them, and makes them a force in the face of their enemies, rather they talk about the Nile being the lifeblood that strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and common destiny, and they talk about the civilization of ignorance (Jahiliyah) and idols and avoid talking about Islam!

We say to the ministers and their governments, that what binds the people of Egypt and Sudan is greater than the Nile, it is the great Islam, which is the true lifeblood that strengthens the bonds of brotherhood, as the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:

{الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلا يَخْذُلُهُ وَلا يَحْقِرُهُ...}

“The Muslims are brothers, they don’t let him down, don’t insult him, and don’t surrender him.” And that the common destiny of the people of Egypt and Sudan, but of the entire Muslim Ummah, which is subjugated and ruled by Ruwaibidhah rulers, who are afflicting it torment, displaying bravery on it, while they are in front of its enemies as cattle, rather they are more astray. We say that, the common destiny is its unity in one state, which is the second Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) Rashidah state on the method of the prophethood, which will restore its power, and abolish the simulated borders of Sykes-Picot put over the Muslim countries, and this will soon materialize, by the permission of Allah (swt).

So, O the people of Egypt and Sudan, let the trivial things and work to resume the Islamic way of life; through the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate), to unite your two countries with the rest of the Muslim countries, to win in this world and succeed in the Hereafter.

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ

O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.” [Al-Anfal: 24].
