Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in Al-Obayid City Held a Peaceful Stand to Protest the Ban on an Islamic Book Exhibition

On Sunday morning 26/03/2017, the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan in Al-Obayid City, the capital of North Kordofan State, held a peaceful demonstration in front of Shikan local district in protest against Al-Obayid authorities’ ban of an Islamic book exhibition at the freedom square, holding up banners reading: “The best of works is to carry Dawah, so why do you prevent an Islamic book exhibition?”, “Shame on you to open the door to every croaked, and close it before the Dawah carriers”, “Shame on you to ratify the rave parties, and absurd festivals, and prevent the call to Islam ...”

People have interacted with the Shabab from Hizb ut Tahrir, discontented with those who deny the call of truth (Al-Haq) and allow the falsehood (Al-Batil).

The press release, entitled: “In Line with the Requirements of Open Secularism, The Regime Bans an Islamic Book Exhibition in the Public Squares of Al-Obayid” was distributed to the crowd gathered during and after the stand.
