A Meeting Between the Tribal Leader of Al-Habab and a Delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan

A delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, led by Ustaadh Suleiman Al-Dasees, a member of the Hizb ut Tahrir, and including Ustaadh Abdullah Hussein, Coordinator of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, Ustaadh Montaser Karar, Coordinator of the Events Contacts Committee in Kassala, Ustaadh Yaqoub Ibrahim, Member of Hizb ut Tahrir, and Ustaadh Adel Mohammed, Member of Hizb ut Tahrir, visited Sheikh Hamed Mahmoud Hussein Kantabai, Nazir (tribal leader) of Al-Habab, accompanied by his deputy Sheikh Idris Mohamed Idris, at his residence in Port Sudan on Tuesday, 28 Shawwal 1445 AH, corresponding to 07/05/2024 CE.

The delegation explained the vital issue of the Ummah and introduced Hizb ut Tahrir, stating that it advocates for the revival of Islamic life by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood. They emphasized the necessity of working towards this aim, considering it obligatory upon Muslims worldwide. They highlighted that in its absence, the Ummah has been torn apart, afflicted by great disasters and calamities, including destruction and intense wars among the members of the same Ummah.

Then the deputy of the tribal leader, Idris Mohamed Idris, spoke, welcoming what the delegation presented, stating that it is a lofty and noble aim that requires great effort and significant sacrifices. He affirmed that no Muslim would disagree on this matter, saying, "For the first time, we meet a political party whose aim is to uphold the word of Allah, unify Muslims, and not chase after transient authority."

The meeting concluded with Nazir Hamed Kantabai, expressing gratitude to Hizb ut Tahrir for this unique visit. He admired the clarity of their vision, stating, "We are proud that you have considered tribal leaders. We, in turn, will inform our people about this great endeavor." He emphasized the importance of continued communication and exchange of visits.
