Western Infidels’ Agents and the Boldness to Proceed with the Project of Fragmenting Sudan
(Translated)

Abdul Wahid Nur, the leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement, and former Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok signed a declaration in Nairobi, capital of Kenya. One of its most significant clauses includes: Clause 4, point (d), which calls for the establishment of a secular state that remains neutral and equidistant from all religions, cultures, and identities. Point (e) calls for the establishment of a democratic federal civilian government in Sudan that ensures the creation of a civil state. It also includes provisions for freedom of religion and thought, and guarantees for cultural, ethnic, religious, and regional identities. The declaration concludes this clause by stating: "In the event that these principles are not included in the permanent constitution, the Sudanese peoples have the right to exercise self-determination."

In light of this declaration, we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan affirm the following facts:

First: Sudan has been governed by a secular system since the entry of the British colonialist armies in 1899 until today, where the constitution established a life based on the separation of Deen from life.

Second: The fundamental cause of all of Sudan's problems is the idea of secularism, or democracy, which are one idea meaning the application of manmade law through parliaments and legislative councils, and the exclusion of the rule of the Creator, Almighty Allah.

Third: The insistence of these leaders, whether politicians or military personnel, on implementing secularism aims to execute the orders and instructions of colonial states that strive to fight Islam and prevent it from governing and politics, thus fighting its carriers and advocates.

Fourth: Establishing life on the doctrine of separating the Deen from the state means continuing a life of hardship, suffering, and failure in managing all aspects of life, whether political or economic. Allah (swt) said:

[وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكاً وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَى]

“And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.” [Taha:124].

Fifth: Working to implement federalism, self-governance, and self-determination is putting the country into a machine of fragmentation and destruction, and it is a dirty work executed only by fallen agents.

In conclusion: This declaration confirms how the agents of colonial states conspire day and night to implement their masters' plan in Sudan, which revolves around a malicious triangle: excluding Islam and fighting its carriers and advocates by imposing secularism, fragmenting Sudan through federalism, self-governance, and self-determination, and then plundering resources through foreign investors and colonial capitalist companies.

The duty upon the people of Sudan is to take a stand against these treacherous leaders, expose them, and establish the Islamic State; the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) based on the method of the Prophethood. This will unite the Ummah under the identity of Islam, despite differences in color and language, where no one is superior to another except by taqwa (piety). Through a legitimate bayah (pledge) to a Khalifah (Caliph) who upholds justice, ensures security, and grants everyone their due rights.

[وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ * بِنَصْرِ اللهِ يَنصُرُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ]

“And that day the believers will rejoice, In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.” [Ar-Rum:5]
