Press Release
Enemies of the Revolution Fear the Movement of the Ummah and Warn of Losing Control
(Translated)

Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, has warned of escalating tensions in Syria, describing it as another risky area showing a tendency towards escalation. He pointed out that the Syrian issue requires a comprehensive approach to reach a sustainable solution. This statement was made during the opening of the sixth meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Doha on 9 June 2024. He affirmed his support for the efforts of the United Nations and its Special Envoy, Geir Pedersen, to reach a political solution in Syria consistent with UN Security Council Resolution 2254. He also praised Saudi Arabia's decision to appoint an ambassador to Damascus.

Since the outbreak of Ash-Sham Revolution, the Turkish regime has been implementing American directives to suppress the revolution. However, they have realized that despite all their schemes, they have not been able to subdue the people of Sham (Syria) nor stabilize the criminal regime. On the contrary, they have started to warn of the prolonged conflict, fearing unexpected and uncalculated risks ignited by the revolutionary Ummah’s spirit and the fervour of the revolution. This is especially true with the new wave of revolution against leaders connected to Turkish intelligence and others, and the Ummah's persistent efforts to regain its authority and decision-making to achieve its goal of advancing towards the capital to crown the sacrifices and reach the desired outcome: toppling the regime and establishing Islamic rule.

Fidan's statement aligns with Pedersen's admission that what he calls the "Syrian crisis" is impossible to solve, and that they will not surrender because it may explode again in their faces, as he put it. Pedersen considered it a major mistake to leave the Syrian issue unresolved, with its escalating problems that could erupt at any moment, because the current calm is relative and there are no guarantees for its continuation.

Ahmet Yıldız, Turkey's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, spoke about the difficulty of reaching a lasting political solution in Syria at present, calling on the Damascus government to initiate genuine national reconciliation. Earlier, Turkey's Defence Minister Yaşar Güler stated that Turkey might consider withdrawing its forces from Syria if its borders are secured, implying security by Assad's criminal regime forces.

These statements, sounding the alarm, reflect the enemies' fear that the fire in the liberated areas of Idlib and elsewhere will spiral out of control, returning power to the sincere revolutionaries. They warn of an explosion and losing control over their tools in the liberated areas, represented by the factional leaders. Hence, they hasten steps toward a political solution and reconciliations.

Therefore, it is imperative for the revolutionaries to be wary of the schemers plotting against them to thwart their conspiracies. They must continue their blessed movement to regain authority and decision-making while adhering to their principles. Politically and militarily, the matter must be entrusted to the competent ones to chart a course towards the capital, aiming to overthrow the criminal regime and establish Islamic rule with a second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. This is not difficult for Allah.
