Hizb ut Tahrir/Tunisia Held a Political and Economic Meeting Entitled: Tunisia... Unraveling the Economic Puzzle... the Reality and Solutions from the Fundamental View Point of Islam

On Saturday 24/5/2014 Hizb ut Tahrir / Tunisia held a political and economic meeting entitled: "Tunisia... Unraveling the Economic Puzzle...the Reality and Solutions from the Fundamental View Point of Islam" In a Hotel in Tunisia; speakers of the meeting included: The head of the political office, Brother Abdul Ra'ouf Al-A'miry, and the member of the Media Office, Brother Salman Al-Gharairi, and the member of Hizb ut Tahrir, Muhammad Al-Biskiri and the member of the Central Communications Committee, Ahmad Bin Hussain, in addition to the Official Spokesman of the Hizb, Brother Ridha Bilhaj.

Brother Abdul Ra'ouf Al-A'miry explained that what the world is now experiencing -including our country Tunisia- of crises, calamities, turbulences, brutality, looting, dependence, and a cascade of crises especially the economical which the outcome of the corruption of the implemented capitalist system, which is bankrupt and its feebleness is clear.Al-A'miry questioned, "Isn't it shameful that the foreigner decides our economic policy? Isn't this true colonialism?"

As for the member of the Media Office, Salman Al-Gharairi, he touched on the issue of debt, and the illusion that it is the magical solution for the disastrous economic situation which Tunisia is experiencing as expressed by the head of the government Mahdi Jummu'ah. He explained that the capitalist system created the mortgage crisis, the status of inflation, currency collapse, poverty, famine, looting, and the destruction of the country and the people.

The speech of Brother Muhammad Al-Biskiri touched upon the issue of wealth. He said that what we need today is the restoration of our wealth and immediately under the title of "Public Property" so that we can find out the level of looting, in order to account the corrupt, as required by a state with status, unlike this government which gets status only in public neighborhood.

He concluded his speech by saying that It has become clear to those who have vision that this country that is described for long as poor does actually have many bounties that are sufficient for us and stops us from begging for policies and of selling the land. Calling all the sincere of the sons of the country, the economists and political parties, to rise above rumination of foreign dictates and rise above the bickering and harassment and work on vital issues, including the recovery of looted wealth so that will deserving of His (saw) saying:

«إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ مَعَالِيَ الأُمُورِ وَأَشْرَافَهَا وَيَكْرَهُ سَفْسَافَهَا»

"Allah loves the excellence and honorable of matters, and He detests trivial matters"

Brother Ahmad Bin Hussain, member of the Central Communications committee, explained, that there are many contradictions that indicate that the Capitalist system care for numbers and has no relationship with man, this is why capitalists view the economic problem as that of money and not of human being, and when they discuss the human beings in election campaigns, or during a threatening revolt against the business and finance tycoons.

He also explained that a poor person in the Khilafah "Caliphate" state- one whose needs of food, drink, clothing, and shelter is not met- is treated as an emergency situation and breaking news and top story of the news headlines.

He also explained that the Islamic solutions to man's problems are pure Shariah laws and are all revealed by Allah (swt), they cater for man first; work is obliged on capable men to secure their basic needs, Nafaqa (money) is made obligatory on men, it is general and spent on women who are able to work as well as those who are not able to work; as well as it is spent on men who are unable to work out of poverty, whether the man physically is unable to work or is excused by the Islamic rules.
The Official Spokesman of the Hizb, Ridha Bilhaj, explained that the correct solutions are only found in Islam the great, in the form of Shariah laws that satisfies looking after the affairs, satisfying the needs, and luxuries.

Bilhaj discussed the recommendations of Mehdi Jummu'ah's government to increase the prices and end subsidies, and explained that they are but mere dictates pre-prepared by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank that they aim to pass through the table of the National Economic Dialogue to give it the consensual legitimacy.
The Official Spokesman emphasized that it the right of political parties to expose the corruption files regarding the exploitation of the country's wealth by some parties.

The meeting was attended by a heavy media presence which reflects clearly the position of the party and its ability to unravel puzzles and provide solutions that are capable of pulling the country out of the status of foreign dependence.
