Hizb ut Tahrir / Tunisia organizes Protests against the "Invest in Tunisia: Start-up Democracy" Conference

Hizb ut Tahrir / Tunisia organized throughout different regions in the country (Tunisia the Capital, Susah, Safakis, Al Watan Al Kabali, Al Mansateer, Kabali, Kabis...) symbolic stands to protest against the "Invest in Tunisia: Start-up Democracy" Conference. The protestors raised banners: "Foreign Investments are Tools to Bankrupt the Country and Impoverish the People," "The Investment Conference in Tunisia: A Public Auction to Sell the Country," "The Investment Conference: The Pretext is Mercy, but its Core is Punishment," "The Conference is to Privatize the Remaining Public Properties."

In addition, several speeches were delivered in the protests which showed the gravity of this conference on the country and the people such as looting and exploiting the human and natural resources. Also, these speeches explained that foreign investment is a colonial tool that the West uses to enforce their control on the country and submitting it to abominable tools.
