Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Turkey Announces the Death of One of Our Righteous Sisters, Jayda Arjaan
(Translated)

Sister Jayda Arjaan, who dedicated her life to resuming the Islamic way of life as a righteous believing woman, submitted her soul to the Most Merciful yesterday in the hospital where she was receiving treatment. (إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ راجِعُونَ) “To Allah we belong and to Him is our return.”

Jayda Arjaan, age 50, met Hizb ut Tahrir in 2005 and has pursued this da'wah with her husband hand in hand ever since. Jayda Arjaan, may Allah have mercy on her, has always supported her sick and needy husband, who was sentenced to prison for his work in the Islamic call, always having supported him despite her own illnesses, patient in the face of adversity. We testify that she was a woman who sacrificed herself both for the sake of Dawah work and for the sake of her family. We pray to Allah that the hardships Jayda Arjaan went through after being diagnosed with leukemia have erase her sins.

We ask our Lord to bless our dear sister with the vastness of His mercy, and to grant her family with beautiful patience and solace, and we also extend our condolences to her relatives, loved ones and sisters in the call.

(إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى الصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ)
