These past two weeks Hizb ut Tahrir organized a widespread global campaign. A campaign under the name “Glad Tiding was Achieved... to be Followed by Glad Tidings!” under the guidance of the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, Eminent Scholar, Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah (may Allah protect him). The Campaign focused on Muhammad al Fatih in his conquest to gaining victory of Constantinople and what that means for the Muslim Ummah today. Reminding Muslims of the obligation of working to re-establish the Khilafah Rashidah that was last destroyed on the hands of the Kufar, pointing out what the Kufar have done and have been doing to prevent the return of the Khilafah by utilizing various means and Styles. And to reassure the Muslim Ummah on the fulfillment of the three other glad tidings of the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), as the first one has been achieved, which was conquering Rome, and the other two: the return of the khilafah (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood and fighting the Jewish entity and powerfully defeating them.
The campaign took place in numerous places around the world, from the east to the west, the north to the south. It was truly a WORLDWIDE campaign. Activities taking place in Britain, Russia, America, Sweden, Tanzania to the Wilayahs of Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sudan and the blessed land of Palestine, to name just a few, utilizing all means through mosque’s special public talks, outside mosque public talks, Bayans, Friday Hhutbahs, video clips, while some Hizb members voiced the campaign’s content via TV stations and radio such as “Island TV” and “Chuchu fm”. (Zanzibar). Pakistan undertook the campaign on Twitter on 11 January 2020, which became the second largest national Twitter trend, generating debate, and distributed seven short extracts of the speech, in the voice of the Ameer, with English and Urdu subtitles. It undertook public addresses with the banner, “O Lions of Pakistan's Armed Forces! Sultan Fatih conquered Constantinople, showing you the way to liberate Kashmir and al-Aqsa.” The concluding words, “Hizb ut-Tahrir - Wilayat Pakistan, Hizb Ut-Tahrir Wilayat Sudan...etc.”
The Campaign, by the blessing and help of Allah, was an immense success! It gained enormous coverage, reminding the Ummah of its roots and its future... opening eyes and minds. Allah has promised this Ummah a mighty future. The prophecies are yet to come. Awaiting their righteous men and women, to rush forth to obtain their honor, as Muhammad al Fatih and his army had obtained theirs. So stand with Hizb ut-Tahrir in shedding light on the minds and hearts of this Muslim Ummah and it’s armies so that soon, Allah will lead us to his victory once again.
