On 20 May 2018, President Tayyip Erdogan has hinted that Turkey might consider imposing a ban on imports of some “Israeli” goods over the killing of Palestinian protesters by “Israeli” forces in Gaza just before Ramadan.

On April 27, "IA Novaya Gazeta" published an article on its Internet resource in the Investigations section entitled "Authorized to remain silent". The author of the article asks about the numerous statements in the Russian media about the prevention of terrorist attacks and the arrests of terrorists:
