Regime Submits to American Orders to Eradicate Islam from Education

Parents and teachers must ask as to how can America ever be an authority as to what can and cannot be taught of Islam to Pakistan’s Muslim children. Particularly when the Raheel-Nawaz regime has just prostrated itself before American recommendations for Pakistan's education, despite their blatant contradiction of Islam. The Dawn reported on 17 April, Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani said in his reply to a US report about "objectionable" material in Pakistani textbooks, Pakistan has been steadily reforming its education system and has also removed a number of "offensive" references from its textbooks. The American report is called “Teaching Intolerance in Pakistan, Religious Bias in Public School Textbooks” and is issued by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), which is a bipartisan U.S. federal government commission created by the International Religious Freedom Act of 1998 and whose Commissioners are appointed by the President and the leadership of both political parties in the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Parents and teachers must examine what did the Americans find "offensive" to which the regime heard and obeyed? On page 6 of the report, USCIRF states, "Emphasis on Islamic Faith despite Pakistan’s religious diversity, throughout the curriculum, Islam is projected as the paramount feature of Pakistan and the Pakistani identity. This comes into conflict with the religious beliefs of religious minorities." So, how else are Muslim youth to view Islam, other than the most important part of their identity and their country? How, when Allah (swt) said,

{هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ}

He is the One who sent His Messenger with the Guidance and the Deen of Truth to dominate over all other ways of life, even though the mushrikeen may detest it” [Surah At-Tawba 9:33]. And on page 7, the USCIRF states, “Glorification of War and Violence. The foremost reoccurring trend in textbooks from all grade levels is an overemphasis on the glorification of war and war heroes. In particular, the conquest of Sindh by Muhammad bin Qasim and 17 famous attacks by Sultan Mehmood Ghaznavi are included proudly in every text book...In post-independence history, wars with India are emphasized and examples of peace initiatives are largely ignored, resulting in an unbalanced historical discourse focused on intractable conflict.” So, are the Muslim youth not to take pride in fighting for the glory of Islam and defence of Muslim Lands? How?! When Allah (swt) said,

Allah forbids your friendship with those who fight you because of your faith, and drive you from your homelands, or aid others to do so: and as for those who turn to them in friendship, they are truly oppressors.” [Surah al-Mumtahina 60:9]

The Kaffir colonialists are spending their wealth and expending effort to ensure that our coming generations submit before them. Allah (swt) said,

“Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you till you follow their religion. Say: 'Verily, the Guidance of Allah is the only Guidance. And if you were to follow their desires after what you have received of Knowledge (the Qur'an), then you would have against Allah neither any Wali (protector or guardian) nor any helper” [Surah al-Baqarah 2: 120]. As for the Raheel-Nawaz regime, role is simply to listen and obey Washington, even though calling for or promoting Kufr is a great sin in Islam. Allah (swt) said,

{إِن تَكْفُرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْكُمْ وَلا يَرْضَى لِعِبَادِهِ الْكُفْرَ}

“If you disbelieve, then verily, Allah is not in need of you, He likes not disbelief for His slaves” [Surah az-Zumar 39: 7].

In fact, the Raheel-Nawaz regime has always ensured the success of every colonialist plan against Pakistan, whether it involved the assault on Pakistan's lands, resources or Deen. It is time for Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood now.

Increasing FDI Confirms Weakening Local Industry

Foreign direct investment (FDI) rose 15 per cent to $957 million in the first nine months (July-March) of this fiscal year from $832m a year ago, the State of Pakistan (SBP) said on 19 April. More than half of these inflows, i.e. $516m, were from China, which has been investing heavily under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Chinese investment, which has now gone up to more than half a billion dollars, was just $193m during the same period of last fiscal year. Far from being a cause for celebration, the high and rising FDI figures confirm that Pakistan's local industry is weak and neglected. This is a consequence of the Kufr system implemented in Islam which ensures a downward spiral, regardless of who is at the helm, whether Ayub Khan or Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto or General Zia or the current Raheel-Nawaz regime. The so-called industrial growth of the sixties and seventies was of basic and simple industry, without laying the basis for heavy industry. Growth rate of industry fell from 8.2% during the 1980’s to 4.8 % for the 1990’s and in the latter half of 1990’s the growth was only 3.2%. In 1996/7, the growth for industrial sector was minus 0.1%, and was 1.5% in 1999/2000. Private investment fell from 10% to 8% during the 1990’s, though foreign ownership of industry has surged, as reflected in the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) figures. So over time, rather than developing the ability to make industrial machinery and engines, what local industry there has been is collapsing in front of foreign companies.

Democracy will never allow Pakistan to achieve its potential because it is what implements the colonialist policies. Intent on exploiting the world resources, colonialist powers want to keep Pakistan a state with poor industry: unable to extract its resources by itself, devoid of heavy industry such as engine and jet engine manufacture, dependent on import of even simple agricultural machinery, provider of cheap light industry products for colonialist markets such as electric fans, surgical equipment, hand craft and sports goods, as well as making Pakistan’s population a huge market for colonialist products.

The need for the Khilafah "Caliphate" is clear. From the first day of the return of the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood, the Islamic State will strive to become the leading state, unmatched by any rival, as it was before. Regarding industry, it will have a military focus, which will lead to the rapid development of a heavy industrial base. In its Introduction to the Constitution, Hizb ut Tahrir has adopted Article 74, “The Department of Industry is in charge of all the affairs connected to industry, whether heavy industry such as the manufacturing of engines, machines, vehicles, materials and electrical equipment, or light industry. Similarly, whether the factories are of the public property type or they are included in the private property and have a relationship to the military industry. All types of factories must be established upon the basis of military policy… it is a duty upon the State to manufacture weapons by itself and it is not allowed to depend upon other states, because this allows other states to control it, its will, its weapons and its fighting... This can’t be achieved unless the State possesses heavy industry and started to build factories which produce heavy industry, both military and non-military alike.”

No End of Corruption until There is Nussrah for Khilafah "Caliphate"

Apparently weighing in on the controversy surrounding the Panama Papers leak, Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on 19 April 2016 called for “across-the-board accountability” in the country. An ISPR statement quoted the chief of army staff as saying: “The ongoing war against terrorism and extremism ... cannot bring enduring peace and stability unless the menace of corruption is uprooted.” It went on to say that the “armed forces will fully support every meaningful effort in that direction, which would ensure a better future for our next generations”.

General Raheel Sharif is again trying to restore the people's confidence in the current system, by saying that accountability within the current system will ensure the end of corruption. However, it is the current system that is the cause of corruption. Democracy being a man-made system allowing rulers to make laws according to their whims and desires, to secure personal wealth for themselves. Muslims have noticed that the last three regimes came through elections in democracy, an area as corrupt as those dictatorships that came by coup. Moreover, by directing people to even more Democracy, General Raheel is increasingly at odds with public opinion. The main critical discussion in Pakistan today is how to bring a real change. How are we to have sincere rulers over us, who govern by Islam? How can we secure the rights that Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saaw) granted us? And what is our role in bringing about this change, so that relief is not delayed any more than it has been?

The answer lies in the method of RasulAllah (saaw). RasulAllah (saaw) did not enter the corrupt Kufr system in order to remove it or change it, even when he was offered to become its head. And he (saaw) did not accept power, even when he was asked to accept a single condition of compromise. Instead to remove the Kufr regime, RasulAllah (saaw) stripped it of its very support within the entire society. RasulAllah (saaw) stripped the support of Kufr from within the people, by boldly rejecting the system of Kufr and calling the people openly to Islam. Moreover, he (saaw) stripped the Kufr rule of its physical support from those who had the material power to secure its survival. He (saaw) personally met the men of war, fire and steel, and demanded from them the Nussrah for the Deen. He (saaw) travelled near and far, in hardship and in ease, to secure the Nussrah for Islam as a state. He (saaw) sought the strong, discerning material capability in detail, asking

«وهل عند قومك منعة؟»

Do your people have strength?” and rejecting those too weak to secure Islam from its enemies. Thus he met many tribes including: Banu Kalb, Banu Hanifah, Banu Amr bin Sa’asah, Banu Kinda and Banu Shaiban.  He (saaw) persisted in this methodology patiently until Allah granted success in the matter of Nussrah, with the Ansar (ra), a small but sincere and brave group from within the men of war. And so Nussrah for Islam as a rule was secured by the methodology of the Prophethood, transforming the torn and divided Yathrib into a powerful beacon for Islam, Madinah Al-Manawwarah. This is the only way to end corruption from its root. It is upon the sincere in the armed forces to grant Nussrah for the complete and comprehensive implementation of Islam.

Democracy Ensures another Summer of Electricity Shortages

The government on 19 April 2016 announced a loadshedding plan for urban and rural areas where power cuts for six to eight hours a day will be applied to residential and commercial localities, while a separate electricity load management plan might also be out in the peak season for the industrial sector. However, loadshedding for more than the scheduled hours would be applied to the areas with low recoveries and high losses, said the Ministry of Water and Power after a week-long consultation with distribution companies under the ex-Wapda network. Power supply had peaked at 16,800MW last year and would go well beyond 17,000MW this summer due to the improved transmission system. So Pakistan's citizens brace themselves for another summer of misery, with soaring temperatures and insufficient electricity generation for cooling through fans or air conditioning. Illness and death through dehydration, heat exhaustion and heat stroke all increase every year.

Through democracy's implementation of capitalism, the government is responsible for Pakistan's electricity crisis. The present capitalist system ensures that through privatization a few private owners, foreign and local, fully benefit from electricity resources whilst the public faces hardship. Privatization raises electricity prices so that the private owners can profit in their business. So, whilst private owners amass huge wealth by owning electricity resources, the rest of society is stricken by increasingly un-affordable energy prices. In addition, regarding the electricity shortages, the government itself falls into debt to these private interests to the order of billions of Rupees. Then the private interests reduced production of electricity because they were not paid what they were due and were not able to maintain profits. This “circular debt crisis” is the reason that only 10,000 MW or less electricity is being produced. This is even though the total installed capacity is at least 20,000 MW, dropping to 15,000 MW at times of low river flow. This is against a demand that varies between 11,500 MW in the cooler months up to 17,500 MW, during the peak of the hot summer. So it is clear six to eight hours without electricity per day in the summer and four hours in the winter, is the result of not producing at capacity. All this is the result of making electricity a business and not a right for the people.

Islam will end the capitalist economy and establish an Islamic one. As a system, Islam ensures the distribution of wealth and one of its mechanisms is the public ownership of electricity resources as well as coal, oil and gas. As such these resources are neither owned by the state nor individuals. Instead, the state administers this resource to ensure that its benefit is used for all the citizens, regardless of race, color, school of thought and religion. The Khilafah "Caliphate" will abolish taxes upon power and fuel which have further greatly inflated their prices. It will charge only to cover their production and distribution costs, if needed, and any profit from sales to non-hostile non-Muslim states will be put to use for taking care of the public's needs. Islam's electricity policy will contribute to a massive industrialization of Pakistan, supervised by the Khilafah "Caliphate" (Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood.
